And anyone looking for a Bulova Lunar Pilot the 96A225 with NATO fabric strap is $469.

    • Wondering do I just cop pd speedy in black or go lunar pilot hmm

      • +1

The PD Speedy will wear smaller and has a VK63 movement, so will be somewhat less accurate. Of course, at current sale prices you could always go with both. Just sayin’…. ;-)

        • lol am aware of vk63, I already have the white red one, but sometimes you just need black for a more subtle look hmm

  • Sadly the fujitsubo already sold out…

  • Discount AP oak

  • This model features the GMT Caliber 9054, a new in-house movement that combines a maximum 50-hour running time with high average accuracy of -10/+20 seconds per day.

So on average, it's gaining 10 seconds a day, 1m 10s per week. Requires regular modification of time, as it'll be out 5 minutes every month. Is this normal for these sorts of watches?

    • +1

Very normal. If you want accuracy get a quartz watch.

        Or a Rolex

        • Even then, my GMT Master II eventually gets to needing an adjustment every month, granted its more like 2 minutes but believe me they are not perfect.

        • A Rolex would cost 15-20 times the price of this.

      • +2

If you want accuracy get a smart watch that connects to wifi/ mobile data daily. Even Quartz go out of whack over a period of time.

        • Or a Casio quartz with Bluetooth connectivity and use the phone app to keep it in sync. That way you still get a sexy watch with high accuracy minus all the distractions and unnecessary gee-gaws of a smart watch.

    • The 262kHz high-beat quartz are the most accurate.
But even my VH65 mecha-quartz is freaky-good. Spot-on since the last crown pull at the end of daylight saving.

    • I've read your responses, and I guess it's another matter of personal choice; style or practicality, each to their own. Thanks all, first time I'd heard of this being a thing.

      • Its been a thing for over a century, if not many many decades

        • I guess I've never had to look up "do watches tell the time accurately" before… first time for everything.

Personally, I'm more practical over style, so yes, will be sticking with the smart watch

  • Has been down at this price for the past month. Extremely exaggerated RRP.

  • or get a Seiko GMT mod with equal specs for less - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/156254222035

  • If I hadnt ordered the wise gmt with the similar movt, I would have order this one now.
