That's exactly what I've done in our family's cars. I've got a Maxiguard Pro+ and a Graphene in my BT50 and Q5 - there aren't many people that would fit in between the two kid seats!
Is the Pro+ worth it? I need them to sleep a lot in it!
Pro+ isn't worth it. Memory foam is only for the baby insert.
But we have both MGPro and MGPro+ and if the pro+ is cheap enough, I see no reason not to.
If you can get the TEX material, that's the best.
Even the lady at baby buntings said the only difference between normal and pro is the cup holder and a slightly easier button to adjust the straps, and the pro+ has gold stitching.
She recommended save your money and just get the straight maxi guard.
Can be done in a Toyota Camry, but two seats have to be side by side. You might have to compromise a bit of comfort tho.
You put a child seat in the middle? Isn't that a pain to get the kid in and out of?
Yes, and it's possibly the only way to have 5 humans in a Camry. After a while, you would get used to it.
I got the Britax Maxi guard and have that in the middle seat on my Corolla.. and can fit 5 in the car but 1 person is reed thin.. and my lil one plays with the door handles so this is better.
Thanks for this post. I'll check out my local woollies to see if there's any left!
Tempted. Am I silly to think that I need to try and preserve the functionality of the middle seat with 2 seats back there? Have a Graphene and a carrier on hire. When new #2 finishes in the carrier, my plan is to put him in the Graphene and get a 0-8 seat for #1.
There are thinner ones avail but I also want maximum comfort as we do long drives. Plus I like the idea of still being able to have 5 humans in the car.
