I checked that afterwards but yeah I usually just search by name.
It wasn't coming up there before it was updated to "Boost Mobile" FYI. That's why I asked OP to change it.
Thanks for your suggestion.
Also keen to know what Jesszh asked. Can I just use another carriers $2 sim or do I have to buy one with data on it..
Thanks
As long as you 'port out' that is fine, the Boost starter sim doesn't care who you move to just as long as you are not a Boost customer anymore, the Telstra $2 sim seems to be a popular choice.
I personally use the port out time to test out other carriers, the last few port outs admittedly have gone to Kogan/Vodafone as they have offered the best/cheapest deal. Vodafone actually suits or exceeds my needs 98% of the time but I like to have the rural Telstra coverage up my sleeve on the few occasions I need it so come back to Boost.
am a little late to this deal, but could anyone please recommend which cheapest provider I could temporarily port out to before porting back in
Hi, you can buy a $2 Lebara SIM and then recharge $5,or you can buy a $14.90 Lebara SIM (it will be upgraded to $19.90, 15G data when activated) at $6.50 only at our website to use 30 days, and then port it back to Boost.
Got a price match and beat at officeworks. Thanks OP
I have selected "domestic letter with tracking". Do we get an email after shipping with the tracking number? Only got the order confirmation email yet, ordered couple of days back.
tracking number was sent to the email you put when placing the order.
I called officeworks to price beat with lucky mobile and they've been told by head office not to do it due to broken links found throughout the site. I then tried Auditech and they wouldn't beat a price that needs a coupon code to be used. I then had a crack with cellpoint.com.au and they accepted it. Worked out to be $178.12 with click and collect. https://cellpoint.com.au/shop/boost-mobile-230-prepaid-sim-s…
I am currently with Woolworths mobile. I was a boost customer before (early 2023) changing to Woolworths.
Am I still considered a new customer and able to port back to boost on this deal?
yes
What does this SIM expiry of 14/07 mean, Do I need to activate by that date? What happens if I activate it after that date?
14/07/2025, SIM expires in July next year.
Sorry I meant, what if I activate this in September 2024 instead of Aug 5th?
If you activate after 5 Aug, you might or might not get 170GB data. But Boost has kept their 230 prepaid plan for 170GB for a long time.
@Lucky Mobile: Thanks mate, this gives me better clarity.
Hello, we purchase a sim from this deal and when we went to activate it we ran into issues. We called boost and they said it was an invalid sim. We've also tried to ring you multiple times.
Can you look into this?
Hi, please kindly send a pic of the back of the SIM to our email [email protected]. We will have a look at it. Thanks.
Thanks for the support. All sorted
