This game annoys me because the flavor/lore is really weak if you think about it for 5 seconds. Like, why does the robber swap people's identity? It's incredibly weird.
Would you recommend a different party game/variant?
Blood on the clocktower for a significantly better deduction game.

This is a fun game as long as the people you are playing with aren't suddenly scared when they realize that the party game you busted out might require some actual thinking. I'm about 50% success rate with any group of people but when they are into it it is very fun. The phone app does most of the work.
