If you got a text message looking like that, it means you have received a voucher code that you can redeem on your next in-store purchase of eligible items over $100. There is no need to spend $100 first and then wait for a $30 voucher to be delivered in future. In other words, $30 off $100 minimum spend is correct.

I price matched a range hood and when I was paying for it online, noticed you could only enter the gift card details and not a code. Might work in-store.

Hi may I know why good guys staff not allow me to use the code? She don't accept any online code but need me to show the SMS for prove. How did your guys use the code ? Thanks.
It could be because the staff member was strictly enforcing the terms and conditions of the offer.
The terms of this offer says:
2. Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.
4. To redeem the $30 voucher in store, customers must have received an SMS with their unique code; …
If you cannot show the staff member the SMS with the unique code, the staff member does not have to accept the code. Some staff are probably not as strict as the one you spoke to.
