is it really worth it to save 58c?

      • Not sure if its the same for Meta store but depending on your bank some visa txs will be charged fees even if you pay in aud if the payment is processed overseas.

        Steam for example, iherb etc.

Ends up being cheaper to pay in say yen and have that convert to aud and pay fees then pay in aud and get charged the higher price and the fees as well.

Note : amex doesn't incur these fees, or if your bank covers the cost of intl tx fees.

Up, Wise, Revolut are examples of cards that don't charge a fee

          • @snoopydoop: Great to know that they dont charge this fee when paying in your local currency.

Will have to keep that in mind when looking at options in the future.

            • @dazza826: Oh sorry, I misunderstood, I meant these don't charge a fee for paying foreign currency. Never heard of a fee for paying in AUD, that's insane.
But these cards don't do that either!

              • @snoopydoop: It sure is, not my bank but the nab page here explains it

                https://www.nab.com.au/personal/life-moments/travel/internat…

You basically pay the aud price plus the 3% intl tx fee on the total amount if the payment processor is outside of Australia.

Much cheaper to pay in foreign currency where the seller offers then pay their higher aud price and get stung twice (i.e with their exchange rate and then with intl tx on top)

    • Thanks, I used this option as my bank charges tx fees when I pay in aud if the payment processor is outside Australia.

  • Oooh it has an augmented reality mode. I'm a sucker for games that do that well and eliminate the use of the guardian barrier.

Edit: Meeeh. Looked at a few videos. It just breaks jagged chunks out of your walls into the usual VR landscape and then they walk in. Pretty poor implementation that may as well just be regular VR mode after a few moments breaking chunks off your walls.

How are you lot finding these, it's bonkers

I'm seeing developers drop it in Discord; or Reddit; and Facebook is quick to pick it up :)
They're all competing for 'Top Selling' spots in hopes of being noticed; and others buying it at full price. Great for the players!

    • YouTubers - if you follow the VR ones they keep posting these deals once they find out about them 😎

  • Looks like fun, thanks OP, grabbed it.

  • nice find keep them coming!!

  • Thanks OP, I think. 🤔

  • Does this work with any PCVR or only with a MetaVR?

Got this game on the quest 1. Actually pretty fun playing multiplayer with a mate

  • For $3 this looks great!

The reviews seem credible… they aren't all glowing, but do offer some insight as to how the game runs. Looks like it's worth a go, thanks OP.

  • Thanks OP, bought it and hopefully will enjoy it

  • Hi a couple of questions and hoping someone can help. I am looking at buying an oculus do you think they will go on sale soon eg eofy? And can I buy these cheap games before I buy an oculus???? Thanks

    • No idea about sales.

You can certainly buy them before you get the device, just set up an account.. At this price, I can see it being worth it but maybe don't go too over the top if you've never tried VR..Some people get it and don't really enjoy it as much as they think they might.

But yeah should absolutely be able to set up an account and buy

  • Thank you
