          Edit - Note that fully itemised receipts should not be required.

          All receipts are available in the Coles app provided your flybuys was scanned. (Credit to Love a bargain.) A pleasant surprise to be able to get receipts for offline purchases.

          The app receipts are more detailed, including the individual varieties/flavours (plus a little image for each item). For example:-

        So it was a mistake. They said my attached image was incorrect and sent me a copy of it. Was the back of some Panadol packet! So random. I don’t have Panadol in my household and I don’t have that pic in my camera roll. I have no idea how that image is what they received with my claim. All good, they said to reply back to email directly with Coles receipt and they’ll validate it that way.

      That reason is so incredibly unbelievable that it gives vibes of the infamous Bonus $14 Virtual Visa Gift Card with Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Pint ($9) @ Woolworths … One of the all-time OzBargain classics of how to give money away (eventually) and actually make people hate you 🤣

      Perhaps this promo has a limited budget and did not anticipate so many claimants. It would not be inconceivable for them to experiment with throwing up some hurdles to try to deter a % of people. (B&Js gave it a jolly good shot.)

      But if they are just geninely that incompetent then that is a traumatising reflection on the state of humanity 😂

      So many people assuming it's because flavours aren't mentioned after ONE person was rejected for not uploading an itemised receipt. It sounds more like a mistake has been made, or there was something wrong with his image, rather than it being because the receipts aren't specific enough.

      @ilovefullprice EDIT - reduce the file size of your receipt picture to less than 4MB or else clicking submit does nothing (on laptop or android) - managed to get this working after doing that.

      will try on the phone, if that doesn't work, returning it all (esp with comments about claims being rejected due to non-itemised receipts, I also have the 10-bag coles recipt that just says "RED ROCK DELI 165GRAM"

      Perhaps the change in oil?

      Due to widespread disruption to the supply of sunflower oil, we will be adjusting the oil we use to cook some of our snacks. We will be moving to Australian-grown Canola oil with antioxidants for our Red Rock Deli potato chips, Smith’s Double Crunch potato chips, Sunbites Grain Waves and Crackers, and Australian made Toobs. This will not impact the high quality or great taste our consumers love. For a limited time, some of our snack’s packaging may list sunflower oil on the label when canola oil with antioxidants has been used.

    from what everyone is saying Coles receipts just show items but not flavours, mine shows "RED ROCK DELI POTATO 165GRAM" if the promo are going to use this as an excuse to invalidate then that would likely mean everyone.     In error for my first submission I put through for the luxury escape. Of course it wasn’t itemised, being a Coles receipt. I was instantly put through for the draw. So unless it is a unique case the rejection sounds like an excuse. Good to see the gift cards starting to come through. I am in WA with 4 submissions but no gift cards have come through yet.

      the website is registered to THE SMITH'S SNACKFOOD COMPANY PTY LIMITED which is owned by Pepsi & the contact checks out, not say that's 100% confirmation but I'm reasonably confident it's all legit, not to mention people have received giftcards

    Ok, finally I connected with one of the senior Financial members via LinkedIn, through a personal connection as well. This is a 100% legitimate deal and it is a joint promotion event from both Red Rock and Coles. The biggest issue was that they never anticipated the overlap of last week’s Coles Red Rock half-price deal with this gift card promotion period, which significantly impacted their promotion (which I will explain later).

    According to them, let's say their budget for this is X (they didn't inform the amount), but as of Friday afternoon, 28/06/2024, they received claims amounting to 17 times X (17X). They said they are going to honor all the claims, but they don't have enough manpower to process all the claims as it is expected to be over 20 times more than the initial budget. Financially, both Red Rock and Coles agreed on some new funding terms due to this unexpected over-demand.

    There is nothing to worry about on the financial side; the only issue is their manpower, so claims may be delayed for weeks. But definitely, all will be processed. To be honest, he said it is a nightmare since it is very hard to track some duplicate submissions and some of the receipts are not clear enough.

      thanks for the update, sounds like the left hand wasn't talking to the right as you would think they'd not do 1/2 price during the promo period. What they should now do is email everyone who has submitted with an update but given the shit show lets see how long it takes to resolve. Certainly not going to lose any sleep over their losses given it's Pepsi & Coles
