Is This Refurbished Asus Laptop I Bought a Good Deal? - $1369

Hey guys I recently bought this Asus ROG ZEPHYRUS G15 GA503RM-HQ003W R7 6800HS 16GB RAM 512GB SSD RTX3060 15.6 laptop for $1369.

Not sure if I got a good deal or not because there was also this Asus TUF Gaming F15 FX507ZM-HN116W i7 12700H 16GB RAM 1TB SSD RTX3060 15.6" FHD for $1325.

Bit late asking for advice after you’ve bought something

    • I know I'm stupid it's because I had to rush to buy it before I go to another country lol :(

    • If it were a steal with limited quantity, OP might have missed it by exposing it without purchasing.

    I recently bought this

congrats on your new refurbished laptop.

First lesson, never go looking after you've bought :)

What are you going to do if it's not?

Get a new, matching pair of socks

live with years of regret and resentment…

    • Well tbh nothing but feel regret and embarrassment and know next time to not act on impulse (but then again i had no choice because of travelling overseas)

      • If it does what you need it to do for the budget you wanted to spend in the timeframe you had to buy it, you've made a good purchase. There will always be something with better specs, faster, lighter, better deal. You weren't scammed, be happy with what you bought and move on with your life.

  • I wouldn't have bought it…

Not a good deal for last-gen specs, let alone refurbished. Not a bad deal either, you could have done worse.

Does it matter now that you've bought it? Not really

  • Is The Laptop I Bought a Good Deal?

It doesn't really matter what anything things now as you brought it. So just enjoy!

  • Not the best deal - especially considering it's a refurb. But it's fine I guess.

But again, I echo the sentiment that others have shown. Probably should have asked before buying.

Don't worry, the Republic Of Gamers wouldn't sell you a lemon. If they did then take it up with your local ROG representative, they'll take it all the way to the President Of Gamers to get you justice.

  • Well….🤡

  • Too late now. You're just making your buyer's regret sentiment even worse now.

  • Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

How NOT to make a post- most of that was totally lazy, unparsable cut and paste of manufacturer codes then meaningless specs.

  • One of the things you learn in life is that when you buy something you then stop looking at what would have been a better purchase. Because there'll always be something, and you'll live your life perpetually disappointed.

I personally have this exact same laptop recently, I bought mine from cash converters for 930aud but its the 165hz version. I think the price you paid for is not terrible, maybe even okay or good depending on how much you like this model. Mine also came with somewhat deep scratches on the lid but it looked like new on every other part so Im pretty happy about that. Yours is apparently the 240hz version which comes with a brighter screen. I would have paid 1k for yours but since yours is in near new cond and also comes with 1 year warranty, overall I would say kind of fine? Not super exciting but quite acceptable.

Mine also didnt come with rgb keyboard but eh, idk if yours did.

I defo wouldnt pick the TUF for the zephyrus tho as zephyrus is generally much more expensive. Only reason I would pick TUF is if you like having more than 16gb of ram.

    • ok this makes me feel much better lol. thanks a lot for your comment and glad u enjoy your laptop!
