Guessing there will be a few cancellations on orders, but amazing deal OP !

    • +2

I bought in store for $30, seems to be a legit deal.

    • +3

literally the worst cuts and colors ever. So seems pretty legit n

  • +1

if i sort low price -> high its coming up minimum $69 for a DJ branded shirt. am i doing something wrong?

    • +7

The $30 is an override on the price. Filtering doesn't work annoyingly.

    • +1

There's a white box on top of the $69 saying "Now $30". Clearly whoever designed this doesn't like to be obvious

  • Thanks OP

  • Thanks OP!

  • Can these be returned if the sizing is off? Or are they considered clearance products that can't be returned?

    • +1

Looked through a few of the items and there doesn't appear to be any mention of "No Returns".

The only mention of returns in each of the item listings is:

      Terms and Conditions
Bonus Offers (including gift cards) and gifts: Unless otherwise stated, bonus offers and gifts are limited to one per customer and available while stocks last. If the purchased item is returned, the bonus or gift must also be returned or its value will be deducted from the refund. All offers are subject to stock availability. Offers are not available in conjunction with any other offer.

      So looks fine to me.

      • Thanks, have taken the punt

        • +1

Unlike Myer, DJs allow returns on clearance items. There are only a few exceptions IIRC such as perfumes.

  • Anyone know if this is available in-store?

    • +1

Yes, I got some at lunchtime today in store.

      Limited range though.

  • thanks

  • Deal over? Showing full price in cart

  • +1

Pricing error on $30 shirts? After I went to the checkout, prices reverted to full price.

    • Go back to the bag and try to checkout again. It should adjust

    • Just place my order.
      $120 for 4 shirts.

      Thanks OP

    • +1

After I went to the checkout, prices reverted to full price.

This. Gave up trying to get the deal, even after checking stock. DJ's website/cart is a hot mess.

  • i can still see on sale

  • +1

For those who are seeing original price on shirt. Its most likely due to some of your items are OSS. Took me a few tries to put my orders in.

    • This.. When an item/size is OOS, if you click add to bag, it will reset all the discount.
If you add another non-OOS item to the bag, the $30 discount will come back.

  • Are these casual shirts? I thought most would have neck / sleeve measurements and none do.

  • +1

The biggest problem with most clothes is the tailoring cost. Assuming you are reasonably athletic, off the shelf stuff needs to be tailored, so for a shirt, assuming you want darts, side seems and sleeves taken in, tailoring is adds about $50. Still better to pay $30 + $50 vs. $120 + 50 though…

    • +17

The problem with what you say is: "assuming you are reasonably athletic"…

    • I ordered all S size for me, should fit for me no problem :P

      • Sucks that belly in, good now flex, good, light, looks tough. Selfie for insta

    • +2

      Bro, this is OZB

    • +1

Man, thats really taking it a bit far. If you absolutely NEED the perfectly fitted shirt, then just go MTM. Otherwise If you try on a few sizes and brands, you'll find something thats really close. Plenty of off the shelf stuff fits fine without alterations once you stop obsessing about the perfect 10mm of sleeve showing under your suit jacket.

I have a slim waist and fairly broad shoulders, perhaps I’m the anomaly but off the rack shirts all look terrible. Too tight around the chest or like a parachute around the waist / under arm.

        • -3

          Nobody cares.

        • MJ Bale fitted me perfectly and sounds like a similar build. Maybe give em a go?

  • +16

planed to purchase 4 shirts for $120, and during the browsing 2 items became unavailable. Saved me $120. Great result.

    • How un-Ozbarganian… :P

  • I jsut placed 2x for $60 & express shipping is free

    • how did you get the shipping for free?

      • You need to spend $100+ for free express shipping.

        • +1

I'm aware of that but want to know how to spend 60 and still get free shipping.

          • @wolfazrael123: Perhaps used a DJs AMEX which is free shipping on all orders.

            • @DevGuy: Thanks, I was about to save $120. And now I feel that I only saved $60. T T

      • Above $100

      • +1

My cart had express shipping for $10. When I went to "other shipping options" and entered my postcode it offered express shipping for free. This was on a $53 spend shipping to country VIC.

  • +1

    • Thanks for the Shopback info :D

    • +3

I need to hand back my Ozbargain membership. I forgot about cashback. (ordered it from my work computer so no browser extension)

      • Could have used mobile

        • +2

I have no excuse for my unozbarganiousness.

  • got some, thanks OP. for anyone who has bought before - how's the David Jones brand linen shirt quality? Sizing is standard or on the smaller side?

  • Thanks OP grabbed 4

  • Nice, bought 4 shirts. Thanks op.

  • +1

ordered! cant wait for the stock standard davd jones cancelled email

  • +1

Thanks OP. I bought 3 pcs, paid $100 include delivery (2 from Brisbane). I used Shopback to get 8% cashback, so after cashback later will result in total $92 (like $2 delivery) :P

If all of them are in Sydney, I could do click n collect. But 2 pcs are in Brisbane, so all will be delivered …

Amazing deal! Hopefully deal is still on when I get home from work.

    • +2

Just buy through your phone. I did it :P

  • +2

Daggy looking shirts. No wonder they are now $30.

    • Tommy Hilfiger brand shirts look better than other brands. High inflation definitely affects sales of retailers, restaurants etc. They have to lower prices to increase sales or clear their inventory.

      • +1

Tommy Hilfiger brand shirts look better than other brands

        LOL

        • 1 cancelled no stock, 2 just arrived from David Jones Brisbane.

Price tags show $199 and $169 reduced to $129 and $99, then bought at $30 basically >80% discount :P better like early black Friday or boxing day …

I like blue colour, look better than many other shirts lol. Other shirts normal prices were cheaper than mine.

    • +5

you think these look daggy? wait till you see my wardrobe

  • Bought 4. Thanks OP 😀

    Forgot cashback 😭

  • Did anyone got confirmation of their orders?

    • Check your email. I got it (confirming your order). Deliveries from Brisbane (2 pcs) and Sydney 1 pc for me …

  • Can anyone assist on sizing for these?
On the sizing chart is says XXL is an AU 42.
Is that referring to Chest size?

  • Brooks Brothers is the best brand of this lot. Unfortunately all XL+ now though

    • I disagree. I bought Tommy Hilfiger …

      • I see you are also a man of class. Majority of mine was Tommy.

  • -1

Bought 12 when I first saw this deal pop. Learned from previous deals like this that you just grab without hesitation or you miss out lol

Happy to get 2.3k worth of shirts for 360.00.

All have been confirmed (across 6 different orders that are being mailed out).

    • All David jones orders are “confirmed”

      Then the cancellation emails come…..

      • I dunno they're looking pretty locked in (have tracking numbers assigned to them).

        2 have been posted already.

Also why am I being negged.

      • I've just got my first cancellation! D:

        • Welcome to the club!

          • +1

              • @neoleo: I got 2/4 shipped. 2 cancelled. I’ll take 50% as a win!

                • @Repstar: I've got 9 out of 12 with 3 cancelled.

                  Winner winner chicken dinner.

  • Damn, you guys got one of the shirts I wanted. Why did I nap, Whyyyyyyy!!

  • Thanks OP, most were gone but I managed to grab two of the DJs house brand linen shirts for when the weather warms up.

  • +4

No one is talking about the elephant in the room… Who on earth are the people directing these models in the photoshoots?? They all look like 'just-arrested' mugshots (no emotion, no posing), as if they need extra fibre in their diet… These photos look like the discard duplicates you accidentally take when the subject isn't smiling; they all look like they HATE the clothing they're being forced wear

    • +1

Gotta be inclusive of the hobos. Don’t be so hobophobic!

    • You are supposed to be buying the shirts, not the models.

  • +1

lol the Tommy Hilfiger ones are shocking.

  • Thanks for the post! Managed to snag size L for Tommy Hilfiger and the DJ shirt in striped linen. Perfect for upcoming Euro trip after winter.

  • Great deal but yeah think it's mainly the scraps left now.

  • +1

My order has been cancelled. :(
"We’re sorry to let you know that unfortunately, we are unable to fulfil this order. On the rare occasion an item at our Fulfilment Centre is damaged or missing we will only find out when we go to pick your order."

    • 1 cancelled, 2 just arrived from David Jones Brisbane.

      • mine said cancelled, but all 4 arrived across 3 shipments.

  • +1

Anybody has status as "Card Validated"? Did not receive any cancellation email yet.

    • +1

I had the same status and now my has changed to shipped with tracking :)
