    I got the Argus 3 Pro with solar panel in the last sale, it's excellent, no frills but all the features you need. Battery stays well charged even through winter

        Nope, but you can crank the sensitivity to high, and the recording time to max and miss very little.
        Just keep an eye on the battery.

    Looking to get a simple security camera for the first time. With something like this, what's stopping the burglars from destroying the camera/ removing the sd card? Since it doesnt continuously write to a NAS/ hub?

    I ordered the Argus 3 Pro black with solar panel two fridays ago. I bought it via aliexpress usd for like $81 usd but I got some discounts on it via coupons and coins so I ended up buying the black argus 3 pro with solar panel for $70.43 usd which is arround $105/106 aud.
    I reicved it a few days ago but I opened the box today and too my surprise they have updated the 3 pro. It's basically got the 3 ultra shell now. The 3 pro now has a usb c port and it's underneath like the 3 ultra. And they have upgraded the 3 pro from 4 mbp to 5mbp.

          ultra version just $16 more seems a better value, a bigger solar panel. (double the watt of the pro one)

            @jjj123: It's still Australian stock. It's just your change your currency to usd but you are still buying from the australian stock. Still keep your aliexpress store set to Australia but the currency as usd. Also shipping is already included and the gst in included too already. Also make sure to exchange the aud to usd via revolut or wise or something to get the closest to google exchange rate possible.

        Mbps is not resolution, it's bitrate that indicate compression and/or image quality, together with resolution.

        HD, 2k, 4k, 3MP, 10MP, 320x240, 720p are different resolutions.

      This is insane bitrate, at least to me. I saw it at my friends' and couldn't believe it's not compressed more.

      Me eufy cameras show bitrate up to 200-300 kbps (and when nothing is moving - 20 kbps), the compression is so high. It saves a lot of data, the picture isn't bad at all, however the sound is just unworkable on my eufies.
