I've been keeping an eye on the 77", do we think it can go lower in the coming days?
There is an OzBargain post from the 27th of April which had the 77" down to $6174 (via a membership).

He may not have access to the EPP and they may not want to save on an inferior tv. Is the G4 is worth 4k more? Id say no way but i would not want to settle for a 990c if i was wanting something like the G4.
I don't have EPP access, and I find LG tv's have better overall features.

I haven’t bothered posting as it has been lower since release and waiting for a better deal.
LG website has 77" for $6119 if you have VIP status (can be registered using EDU email or HSBC coupon etc). Unfortunately the additional 15% edu coupon currently doesn't work. 83" is $7199.
Patching availability looks like Sydney postcodes doesn't work at the moment.

I bit the bullet over the weekend - EOFY + 15% Perks membership discount, took the TV down to $5,834.75 delivered ($5,775.75 without delivery). This was with JB.
Maybe people can negotiate for this.
