If I'm not mistaken, there was a seller on eBay that had it for approx. $451.27 with the 22% off code. I think it was ElectricBay, but it's showing as out of stock now. I think we'll see more price drops now that the 9000 series is close (and the new Ryzen 9 doesn't even outperform the 7800x3d in gaming, as per AMD).

    • Hoping it drops more will be buying a 7800x3d just worried about warrenty with these guys

    • is it more power efficient?

Can be had for cheaper from Ali express. $466 is what I paid.

    Recently saw it for $430!

Why no mobo combination setup deals . They would move ! Hello out there.

  • I'll stick with a 9600X ot 9700X when they comes out.. they may not be as fast in games but will be faster in almost everything else while using less power. :)

    • why would the 9700x be slower

Personally, I'm playing the long game and waiting till end of the year but the $400 something deals people are talking about on here are pretty epic. The 7800X3D will be relevant for years still. Just depends how patient you are I guess.

    • What when ever will the 7800x3d hit 400$

When the 9800X3D comes out or even if the 9600X is close in gaming performance

Is that coming in july? is it a bad time to buy 7800x3d?

          • @OneSilver: I don't know if I would call it a bad time, but by the end of the year you can make a more informed decision based on all the new info we'll have regarding AMD's new CPU's.

          • @OneSilver: I'm more interested in the 9600X not because its going to cost less then the 7800X3D or if it will be close in gaming I'm interested in it because it will be rock solid stable and have a way better more mature memory controller :)

          • @OneSilver: its probably the worst time unless u can get it for sub $500 prices
