Genuine filters are RRP149 each, you need two.

Plenty of OEM filters on ebay - no groundbreaking tech here so it should be fine to use a 3rd party filter.

what's a good purifier to get below $200?
pre-covid lockdown i bought my Xiaomi "air purifier 2" for $180 and it's been working great. I run it basically daily for 10 hours (average) and it hasn't missed a beat. Just need to buy a couple of filters per year (which is understandable/required for a filter!). IMO don't need any more than that.
Looks like the ones we have in our classrooms at school? If so they are quite sturdy and kid proof. I've seen the kids throw things down the top, I've seen them pushed over while running (the units that is), they keep going.
If anyone has this model, what filter do you use? Just genuine one? Or is there a cheaper alternative?
The next cheapest online price appears to be $539, followed by $599.
I use my Dyson Hot+Cool Fan as my air purifier currently, I'd like to move over to something dedicated, but unfortunately, I haven't found a big enough OzB bargain yet to justify the switch.
It might be worth noting the filter's expected life alongside its price, as the ongoing filter price can also make or break a product.
