Too late now. That was a lightning in a bottle show where everyone came together at the exact point in their lives to make it what it was. They have all moved on since then and the magic will be gone. We could already see it in the Serenity movie which was made around 5 years after Firefly. They would have to do a season 2 with a whole new cast (with cameos from the original people ) if they wanted it to work. But then I fear Joss Weadon is still on the nose in Hollywood and wouldn't get the support or funding needed.

I get what you're saying, but the characters were all so good, I definitely wanted more of their story!
They killed him and Wash off in the movie anyway. Never did get a definitive answer on his back story. I guess he was an operative in his younger days?

Great series, too bad it stopped at season 1. Like 7+1Immortals mentioned above, it would be hard to make season 2 with the same cast. Though if movie world allows AI generated character clones, then surely. But we would have to wait and see. I would never like to watch AI generated terminator without real Arnold in it.

@Headless: Technically your “purchase” would continue even if you stopped subscribing. But you are essentially correct, this is more an “access right” for a term to be decided by the provider.
i had purchased the seasons of Sharpe’s War (spoiler, Sean Bean does not die) from iTunes and one day noticed it was gone. It can’t be found anywhere last time I looked except on DVD.

I always took issue with this line - if cars were capable of being downloaded (not withstanding 3d printing), downloading of cars would likely be commonplace.

Honestly miffed as to who would watch this now.
I watched it when it was new, it ended on a cliffhanger and have never found the need to revisit it.

I watched Serenity the other day and have been thinking about watching Firefly again. It's a great series.
I remember watching this and thinking the 1st 2-3 episodes were slow and uneventful i stuck at it and it gets really good just as the axed it the movie tied it up nicely but this could of been another Star Gate like series that went on for decades the world and lore were really interesting
Stargate is rumoured to come back next year, will ask RDJ himself when he comes here next month
If enough people buy it they might make season 2
