Do we have deal for existing customer?

      • Been trying to port out to Voda and apparently we are unable to activate sim without purchasing a plan first. Cheapest is $12. Might not be worth the effort then. Has anyone been able to activate without choosing a plan?

        • The $3 Vodafone SIM supposedly comes with $30 recharge value. Are you saying the least expensive Vodafone plan that you can select is $42?

        • $5 aldi Sim works for me

  • +2

Will this stack with the current $50 cashback from cashrewards?

    • +4

Yes. Few months ago I bought it via cashrewards while it was on special on boost site. Got $50 from CR.

  • Is the sim swap for same number still working over the chat?

  • +4

Stack with $50 cashback from Cashrewards?

  • Hey Guys has any one been having issues with Boost in Perth lately. Me and my wife both use Boost. When doing a speedtest at home getting 2mbs. It does not affect me personally as I use wifi at home. But it does effect my wife who works in the community- care aide in accessing certain mobile applications for work and websites anything in general. You never ever hear anything bad about Boost so I feel like it's a anomaly. Got Felix esim for her (Vodafone) was even worse. Then esimd amaysim which netted better results. iPhone 15 pro max. Location Balga 6061😎

    • She was complaining that belong was better the month before, do not know how to respond

      • Forgot to mention, connected boost and upgraded to a level 2 and waiting for call back

        • Best you can do is get her service that has Wi-Fi calling (boost does) and use that

    • I live in Mel. Yes recently notes similar thing. I have WFH with boost with no problems but now the speed has become 1-2mbps which was about 15-20. Not sure what's going on.

  • Great deal if it stacks with Cashrewards.
    Thanks OP!

  • Where's their mid-tier deal? Would love around 100gb w/ 365 expiry.

    • +2

I guess that one will not be included. Best option is to go with$50 cashback from cashrewards, available until end of this month

  • On the website it says:
"260GB on activation for new customers. 240GB on next recharge. Activate by 5 Aug 24"

What happens if you activate after 5th of August ?

    • +1

You only get 240GB data and miss out on the extra 20GB.

      • Ah no big deal!
        Thanks!

  • +5

    Just a heads up guys!
If you're buying this deal via CR, please make sure you buy physical sim card as $50 cashback is only on physical sim card. NOT ON ESIM. It'll get tracked if you order esim but then will get rejected leter on.
I waited for my cashback to get it approved, then converted to esim on my iphone making it a dual sim iphone…😜
Thought of sharing it with you!

    Damnit! No $230 SIM deals?

    WTF Boost?

    • ya, sad! hoping to get one of those on EOFY deal..

  • Vodafone for $150 does the job for me, i guess some people have bad signal with vodafone?

    • My home and work generally seems a lot better with telstra reception than the other 2 sadly. Otherwise i would rather get one of them. But my only option is stick with telstra or move to this . Other issue i have is so much telstra data banked up, that it feels a waste to leave even though i never get around to using my standard data as i have wifi a lot of the times.

  • Can I buy the card and store? My plan runs out in 2-3 months so not sure if this would still be able to activate?
Is Cashrewards CB eligible for this?

  • what is you're an existing Boost customer?

  • My 365 days recharge just finished. Is there a deal that will take place for existing eSIM customer in 2 days?

I’ll just recharge for 7 days then $12 5GB. What do you think?

    • +1

You're probably better off porting to another provider for a short period then go back to boost with another 12 month deal as a "new customer"

    ??

  • +1

So via Cashrewards, physical sim card posted $210? Do I have this right?

    • +2

Yes and that also on Telstra full bandwidth 5G network. As an additional benefit you can purchase all those Telstra offers like cheap Village cinema tickets etc etc.

      • Are you saying with Boost mobile we can get access to Telstra cheap movie tickets etc?

        • Yes. Boost login details are created via telstra site.

          • @Be Happy: I went to register but couldn’t do this as it says invalid Telstra product

            • @justanick: You can't sign on directly on Telstra site to register Boost products.
Boost site/app will take you to sign on on Telstra at the time of the registration. Then use same login details on Telstra site to get perks.
Twice a month I buy Tesltras village tickets by login Boost details.

    • This is a good deal. Just purchased it via CR. Switching from Amaysim which have been great too, especially their unlimited data banking; however, I need better coverage for work calls.

  • +1

Seems not to be live yet. Anyone know what time the sale starts?

  • Not live still

  • +1

    Live now

    • +2

And I confirm that I also received the 50$ cashrewards email! win win

  • +1

Yep cashrewards tracked right away. $300 plan for $210 is a good deal. Thanks

    • +1

Keep an eye on your cashback as it'll get approve earlier too..

    • hmm mine didnt track right away :( No mention of the purchase on the CR site.

  • +1

It's a pity that cashback does not apply to eSIM's too. Another annoying step for me will be to convert physical SIM to eSIM 😒

    • +1

Mine cashbacked was approved in 2 months. Way earlier than the date mentioned when it got tracked. Then straight away I got it converted to esim which took few minutes and cashback in my bank account.

      • Do you know if we can convert a physical SIM to eSIM before the cashback is paid?

        • Your cashback will get Rejected mate. As its clearly says in T&C's that cashback only on physical sims.

  • +1

Purchased this today. Used cash back for the first time, so hope that works out. Hoping I also get the $20 sign on bonus, taking the 260 down to $190.

  • When purchasing on the boost website with CR it asks for my current phone number that I’m contracted with does that mean I have to port out before buying?

    • No. Porting will be done once you receive your physical sim card. You'll then create your account and activate your sim card. Then porting will be done within 15mins to 4 hrs depending on the time of activation.
If you dont want to port then get a new number.

  • +1

It's showing me $270, have they changed the price?

  • Anyone know what the cheapest eSim currently is to port out to so can port back into Boost ?

    • +1

Amaysim with their 365 days plan for $10

    • +2

not esim, but i went to post office and bought a $2 belong sim, which was discounted to just $1. Ported out at night, next day in the morning, ported back into boost, no issues.

      • works for Belong? I thought it is also under Telstra hence cannot be ported between Belong and Boost

        • Worked for me. I think the issues is when you go Boost <-> Telstra, as both are owned and operated by telstra. Not sure about belong, maybe it's independent BUT uses Telstra's network?

  • I've been trying to purchase the physical SIM via cash rewards but it keeps erroring out at the last step after i confirm my card details for the payment. Tried different browsers (on the computer) as well as directly on the mobile browser. Has any one faced such a problem?

    • Yeah I'm having the same issue.. Been trying for couple of days now..

      • I was trying to "checkout" (on the boost website) by providing my personal email ID, mobile number, DL and DOB.
It appears boost is doing a validation in the backend and declining the cash back if our information exists in their database.

I can confirm the above because i then used my friends' information and the transaction went through fine with cashrewards tracking it the very next minute (email confirmation).

Folks are getting clever to avoid churn SIMs coming back to claim rewards - i don't see why that is bad since we are only trying to game the system.

        • +1

I’m an existing customer and had no issue purchasing. Cashrewards tracked instantly.

  • My $50 cashrewards didn't track. I ordered physical sim as well. Hmmmm….

    • When did you order? Also is it showing you 270$ or 260$

      • +2

I got charged $260. click buy it now and in the cart it will be $260.

  • +3

I thought boost was meant to be capped at 150mbps? I'm pulling 360mbps+ 😂

It's the exact same service as Telstra JBHIFI plans which I ported from.

    • Yeah true. Even I'm getting around 400mbps in CBD. iIt goes to 650mbps and then comes down with 90mbps up.
Actually it s a good thing having almost full bandwidth in Testra network.

  • Did anyone try to port out and immediatly port back in using this deal?

    • +1

Should work. I have done the same thing in the past.

  • I can’t transfer from boost physical sim to eSIM. After chatting with boost support they said Telstra policy prevents eSIM transfer within 48hours.

    Is this BS or true?

    • Its BS. You can apply for esim via the boost app.

      • I’ve been getting a technical error since 24 hours. My physical sim number is showing a weird Australian number but I can receive and make calls using my boost mobile number 04xx xx

  • Has everyone had their orders shipped? Mine was placed on 11th but still not dispatched

    • They're having low stock at the moment. Called them yesterday and rep asked me if its urgent then get a $2 blank sim card from woolies orncoles and in return she gave me full benefits fo my plan which I already used 30% of it.
      Win!Win!👍🏽😂

  • Over 48 hours I can’t change from physical sim to eSIM
