            @Pulseless: They also made the OLED run faster. So it's the ssd, better screen and performance boost your spending the extra money on if you upgrade.

      Mobileciti isn’t the ones controlling what time stock is released. They enter stock levels into a central system and then the system processes it between different marketplaces which takes lots of time.

      Major props to Valve for making Linux gaming a reality. Been daily driving Pop OS for a few years and have only had to dual boot into Windows for one game (Halo MCC)

        Wondering when steam os will go out for general release so you can build your own steamboat. I'll definitely try it on my aging hardware as it should outperform the deck which is good enough for my gaming wants and needs.

        What will be interesting is if they ever put proton out there for Chromebooks to take advantage of. Then the age of Linux gaming will truly have arrived for the mass market.

            @Ezekiel2320: I meant version 3, as in the steam deck version with the better proton implementation. The official download k believe is still only the old version 2 so doesn't offer the compatibility of the steam deck, and other ones are clones that generally have some quirks and issues compared to the actual steam os 3.

            Valve said it is in the works and coming but who knows when. When it drops I'd imagine we'll see the likes of Asus offering dual boot options of the ally for both steam os and windows.
