Would need to be at least $245 off for the 6m² Green Waste I just looked up on your site.

So according to the comments and posts made on the Ozbargain community, it seems that some users view these as posts primarily as marketing, self-promotional rather than helpful.

Further, I have found that using services like 1800-GOT-JUNK? or similar operators can be a more convenient and cost-effective option compared to skip hire. By calling them directly, you can negotiate prices in situ after they assess the junk and take it away on the spot.

      This approach avoids:

      • Council fees, which can be high, depending on the location and type of waste
      • Material restrictions, which can vary depending on the skip hire service and local regulations
      • The risk of others dumping their waste in your skip
      • Skip hire prices are not cheap, depending on the size and type of skip
      • Some skip hire services may have hidden fees or charges

Also, some additional reasons why I prefer alternative services over skip hire:

      • Unpleasant odors and pests attracted to skip bins
      • Risk of damage to property or neighboring properties
      • Inconvenient delivery and pickup times
      • Difficulty in estimating appropriate skip bin size
      • Hidden fees and unexpected charges
      • Lack of flexibility in skip bin sizes and rental periods
      • Unappealing appearance of skip bins on property or near
      • Potential for overloading or unsafe loading of skip bins
      • Limited availability and long waiting times for skip bin delivery
      • Difficulty in disposing of specific materials (e.g., hazardous waste)
      • Perceived high costs or poor value for money.

Ultimately, of course, still research and decide
      which option best fits
      your needs and budget.

Last sockpuppet post was $55 off so this isn't really a bargain, just more adz.

      Need more sockpuppet posts then

Probably jacked the price up by $100

So what are the prices? OzB isn't a website for free advertising.

$45 off doesn't make a bargain unless we know the actual price?

    • +1

They can't share actual price because common practice is to look after a regular customer while they rip off another to balance the sheets. You must be new to the tradie buisness 🤣🤣🤣. I actually have alot of tradie friends at the gym and all of them have admitted this at one stage I've had a casual convo with them

    • Agree with WN, $45 off a unlisted price.

    Tell 'em the price son!

    • Price with or without the $45 discount offer

  • ozadvertising

  • Same price always, doesn't make this a deal, just normal price.
