  • review for the product
    https://www.androidauthority.com/anker-powerport-atom-iii-sl…

    What we like
    45W of USB-C power even when multi-charging
    Compact design
    84% energy efficiency

    What we don't like
Few fast-charge protocols, lacks USB PD PPS
    Slow charging over USB-A

    seems ok for the price

Review is for the previous model.

The review is for the Anker A2045 with 1x USB-C and 3x USB-A.

The deal is for the Anker A2046 with 2x USB-C and 2x USB-A.

EDIT: Appears the Mobileciti is using the wrong, as the description and model number is A2045T11 (which is the old model)

I purchased this in a previous deal. Was a big fan due to its low profile made it easily fit in a laptop sleeve.

Sadly, one of the usb-c is intermittently charging after 10 months on mine. Still tempted to buy another as they are quite useful and anker is normally a reliable brand.

Just note, as mentioned in the blurb, it shares the wattage, so once you plug in two devices it reduces the overall charge. Standalone this was adequate in charging my laptop (lg gram) whilst being used.

Note, as per the other commenter this may be an older model. The one i am referring to was the newer 2 usb-c and 2 usb model.

    • Amazon will surely replace it if you’re having issues.

      Edit:
Oh duh ignore me, just assumed this was an Amazon link.

    • <1 year old surely they'll replace/refund?

    • I have used multiple Anker Atom chargers. I did have a fault with one, within the the Anker warranty period and raised a case with Anker for replacement. This was easy and fast.

Then image shows 2 usb c ports while the description says 1 USB c and 3 USB a ? Am I wrong ?

  • Any similar form factor ones that do a higher wattage - particularly not so shared. Looking to be able to charge 2x Samsung Galaxy phones at full speed.

  • How would this go charging an older gen iPad using USB-A to lightning cable?
The original apple charger is 10w from memory. Would this Anker perform similarly to that, or much slower?

    • That's cheap for the 100W UGREEN Charger.

      • Yes . I had one and it works great. So got another for backup.

Thanks, mine just arrived this morning.

Made a mess and unpublished my comment.

Better to get this instead which is cheap price for an UGREEN 100W charger.

You can also add another 2 AUD item and use the AliExpress coupon code from this deal to bring it down even further.

      • Didn't notice it. Even better.

The 'Factory Direct Collected Store' one is more expensive for me - US $31.75 + GST

Yogi555 link for 'Cutesliving Store' was US$27.53 + GST (now showing as $30.37 + GST after I bought)

    • It’s not from Ugreen Official store though. Would it be a concern given people have reported fake stuff on AliXpress before?

      • +1

Both Cutesliving Store/Factory Direct Collected Store are both operated by AliExpress.

        • Thanks for your information. Just to confirm, do you mean these stores are operated by AliExpress themselves, similar to goods sold in Amazon AU by Amazon AU themselves?

          • @GreenRomeo: I'm not 100% sure, best to confirm with Clear

            • @RichardL: Thanks, I’ve checked on Reddit and the consensus seems to be they are legit! So will need to spend some time on the store now. Ah, such a miserable life of an OzBargainer!

          • +1

@GreenRomeo: 5.7mil followers on FDC store, should be fine. no one will be faking ugreen. if samsung then yes

    • @Yogi555
hi do you know if with that ugreen, say i plug cables to ALL ports, but only connect one device to the 1st usb C (the other cables are unconnected to any device), will it give 100w or 45w (because it thinks all ports are used and distributes less wattages for each)

      • Sorry haven't tried this actually…

And also I don't have any device using 100w so can't test it as well.

      • On my one, it won’t give the full 100w with other cables plugged in, 0.01 w draw from other cables. Tested with anker 737 + ugreen 100w Gan

        • Damn so these arent smart after all they see cable as device full stop doesnt matter if no real device is connected on the other end.

    • +1

Beautiful - thank you need to replace my gan charger for travel as my old one is dead and having a c7 cord is much more handy due as some outlet are so loose it cant support the weight of the charger or space issue!

      • Yep got to find out the hard way last month in japan hotel. The charger is not heavy but it got pull down. Not good.

        • i found that out last year in Japan too… their two prong outlet has literally 0 friction!

going back again this year but learnt my lesson this time!

    • Ughh, I bought this same one from Amazon for $70 and if I want to return it they will charge me $7.

    • The reason people buy the OP's one is the slim form factor, and the aliexpress one is not that.

  • Out of stock.

I bought this item thinking it was the A2046 model. Now need to contact them to request them to cancel the order.

    • What's the main difference?

      • +1

The A2046 is the newer model and has 2 USB-C ports instead of 1.

        • +2

Does that mean the product photo is wrong for this? I was under the assumption it had 2x USB C ports.

Edit: Just emailed them to cancel my order, looks like they have advertised this incorrectly.

Bought this a while ago, was happy with it until the usbc-c port died on me just after the 12 month mark.

Won’t be buying another Anker charger for a while, their batteries have been good though

  • +1

Mine just arrived - A2046 model.

    • Yeh same. Good job Mobileciti
