$1086.75 for an opened box iPhone 14 Pro Max

    • +2

Can someone explain to me how a new phone can have an open box? The only one I can think of is change of mind customer returns but how do you check if it's actually new and unused?

      • +1

Someone gets a phone on a plan they don't want (from work etc). They sell it. Mobileciti has to open it to make sure its not a rock in there.

        Probably other situations too.

    • The coupon doesn't work with iPhones. Only the products in the URL.

It was working at midnight when this deal was posted and it was in the 25% off list
Guessed an employee read my comment and removed it

  • Code not listed on shopback or cashrewards sadly. Any plans to?

ATL on Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra Robot Vacuum w/ Cleaning Station — $2,248.50 delivered

    • How is this compared to narval, mine laser sensor broken can't go back to station…

    • Any advantage of buying from here vs good guys commercial?

  • +2

What’s the warranty like at mobileciti? Most of their products list 12 month warranty only

  • +1

AU stock and manufacturer warranty? Or is it retailer warranty?

    • +1

I've had issues with products from mobileciti and allphones (same company) and with both I told them I would be returning it back directly to them. They did initially suggest I send it back to the manufacturer but I said no and got an RMA directly to them. They provide a free postage label to their store in Sydney at least, but I just took it in physically. With both they repaired it in store. One was simpler and fixed on the spot with a new part, the other required ~1 week to fix

Can anyone advise/sell me on how good the S8 ultra is? I am looking for a robovac but this still seems excessively expensive, am I better off with a $3-500 one?

    • I am interested too! Someone who has used both. 500 dollar range ones and 3k range ones.

      • I been using naval one for a long time. It's really clean. But it broke down. Donor buy the cheap stuff. You need to look at how much water they can store in their station.

    • I had a $500 roborock for a few years. It did a great job at vacuuming (the mop feature was horrible). Recently upgraded to the s8 pro ultra and it is great. Is it 4x better? Probably not. The mopping feature is very good and the fact it clean and dries the mop is super. It definitely does a better job at vacuuming and avoiding obstacles. Assuming I will get many years out of it, if you can afford the premium I think it's a great purchase.

    • I got one Roborock S8 Pro Ultra a few weeks ago to replace my old Eufy G10 hybrid and overall it is pretty good. Some maintenance to do with the brush/ filters and emptying, refilling the water trays but other than that it is hands off. Very happy with it and worth every cent for the time saved.

    • Game changer

I had the s50 roborock from an old deal and upgraded to s8 ultra earlier this year. It cleans and mops much more thoroughly and obstacle avoidance is much better (though not perfect as its bad at avoiding loose cables)

However note some people did tests for s7 max ultra vs s8 ultra and found that s7 max slightly performed better by 1% or so. Either way both cleaned up sand/dirt dump onto carpet up to 100% on some tests with 2 x cycles.

      Still a beast.

Price dropped maybe cause the s8 maxv ultra came out recently which is on a whole another seperate level again.

Would agree with some of the other comments. Have had the Rovorock S50 lasted 5 years, Q5 still going strong on the second floor (carpet only), Q Revo on the bottom floor and S8 Ultra at mum and dads.

Out of all of them I'd recommend Q Revo, bang in the middle price wise, does everything you need, mopping and vacuuming is top notch, easier to clean and maintain. The one gripe is obsticle avoidance, but if you have a fairly clear floor (no cables, toys, etc) it won't get stuck much. The s8 Ultra has great obsticle avoidance a bit more expensive and not as easy to clean the dock. Cant comment on the MaxV versions but I go around and vaccum the sides and skirting every other week.

    • I regret not buying S8 ultra earlier.
      Very happy with the machine!

  • Can anyone canpare the two in the title? Not sure which one to buy.

  • Damn, DJI not included

    • 10% off with code BBSAV10.

  • Any laptops? Looking for my mum, under $1k, home office usage

I wouldn’t recommend buying from Mobileciti. I bought a Viomi A9 vaccum from their Ebay store last year May and it stopped working this year April. They asked me to contact Panmi for repair, Panmi refused to give a paid return label. Mobile citi assured me they will talk to Panmi and get this sorted, that was 24th April and since then no response.
Also, they are very smart, they listed the product with 1 year warranty and then removed it later. Good that I took screenshot of their Ebay advertisement when buying.

    • I think the issue with buying from a lot of cheaper retailers might be the warranty service often isn't good. I try to avoid buying from grey import places like kogan and dick smith for that reason as well.

You just have to weigh up the cost benefit of savings now and whether it's worth the risk.

I just bought the qrevo maxv from them just now and it's very cheap compared to other retailers.

      • I agree. I bought the S8 Pro from Jbhifi last week on their Wednesday sale. Got it for 1700. There was an issue with the wheel of the robot so i took it back and they replaced it with a new one right away. Just easier dealing with these kind of things if the price is slightly more.

    • Same thing happened to me on that vacuum and same date. We probably got the same deal lol. I contacted them via email. When they said to return to manufacturer I said no and insisted on returning to them. They gave me an RMA and shipping label. I just directly walked in with the RMA number and gave it in to mobileciti Sydney. They inspected it on the spot. Faulty battery. They had a spare so fixed it straight away and I drove home with a working vacuum. The actual store has really good warranty, but I think the support email is outsourced? Hope that helps

PS Allphones is the same company and also has really good warranty in store. You really just have to get past the initial person that tries to get you to return to manufacturer

    • Yeah unfortunately no stores in Qld

Priced matched the Roborock Q Revo at JB Hi-Fi.
Could use 5% giftcard vouchers to bring it down to $1077.54 +$10 shipping

    • +1

They price matched even though there is a coupon? Did you do in store or online?

      • +1

        Online through there chat!
Had no problem. Linked to the store and gave them the code.

    • +1

I tried to get a price match but was denied. They offered me $1489…

      • +2

same, they denied me too. Said they don't match coupons.

      • Maybe I was lucky on a monday morning.
Trying again is maybe an option?
Try and see if you get someone else?
Using a different email as they probably log your chat history.

    • Would you be able to share a copy of the receipt/invoice?

  • +1

Just bought the Qrevo MaxV for $1650. Thanks mate

  • Having no luck trying to order the power bank….
Edit…was using wrong code…duh!! All good now

  • Got the S8, thanks. Been eyeing for a discount for awhile.

  • +1

For mopping the hard floor, Q Revo or S8 Pro Ultra?

  • are these actually much better than the 5+ year old xiaomi robot vacuums? tempted to upgrade but not sure why

  • They went and put a heap of prices up on items after the first day of the sale. The q Revo and q8 max + both higher now.

    • The "discounted" listed price is before the 25% coupon which you apply in the cart.
Q revo price hasn't changed, although there was a refurb listed for less when the sale started.

      • +1

        Yep it has gone up.

Previously $1500 so was $1125. Now $1600 so $1200 with code.

        • Sorry, my mistake!

          • @Snax912: All good, I did check again as thought maybe it had gone back down.

  • went to JB Hi-Fi chat to price match the Q Revo, but they said they couldn't match a price that includes a coupon. However, they reduced the price to $1,209. If combined with the Ultimate gift card offer from Coles tomorrow, the final price would be $1,088.10, which is less than what Mobileciti is offering.

    • Did you get the price match instore or online?

      • +1

        Online.
Received a purchase link yesterday through chat which was valid till midnight, but didn't make the purchase. Going to go to online chat again today to get another link and then hunt for ultimate gift cards.

        • Just tried my luck with JB Hifi, only got offered $1477…damnit..

          • @Quiexo: I ended up not using price matched direct purchase link from jbhifi. Can share that with you if you want to use that. I believe it's not linked with any account.

            • @acuren: @acuren interested if quiexo not using the link

              • @somacruz: not sure how to dm you here. Could you please dm me instead so I can share it with you over there.

                • @acuren: under profile - link- messages, you have your dm not enabled so i cant do a new conversation with you there

            • @acuren: Had a busy afternoon so just saw your message…thanks for the offer though…

          • +1

@Quiexo: suggest you to try again for JB hifi online chat or in store, I was lucky as they gave me the $1209 price, you will have to send the website link and show them the code used

            • @nezupom: didnt work out for me as well, best offer they gave me was 1310. they couldnt even do a price beat on amazon au which had it for 1299. Would appreciate it if anyone has a better deal link that i could make use of

            • @nezupom: Still no luck, only managed to get it down to $1399..

      • JB offered me $1235 then I was able to price match at GG for $1199.25 so not going to use JB's offer. Let me know if anyone is looking for JB's offer. Valid till mid-night tonight.

        • @moony can I get the JB HiFi link from you? Many thanks!

  • Finally getting the Roborock S8! Thank you for sharing
