Got these, they're really quite good for the price.

Honestly makes me wonder why I spend $$$ on audiophile headphones when it's just as enjoyable with these + not hot / sweaty in summer

Perfect for watching movie or music in bed

    Comparing to my others:

    • Oppo Enco Air 3 just as good. Don't have to sideload the app. I slightly prefer the fit of Huawei but that's subjective of course
    • Soundpeats Air 4 got better reviews but they just distorted all the time
    • +4

Absolutely agree. Also super important, you can program the taps on the headphones to skip tracks or jump back to a previous track. Small detail but it's really responsive. The case size is really small like the soundpeats air 3, it's neatly in the coin slot of a pair of jeans.

      • Yeah, Soundpeats had terrible buttons. They were super finnicky and ended up disabling them

Enco's worked pretty good that left a couple of features on

I haven't sideloaded these yet to change them

Conspiracy theorist: CCP is listening to what you are listening.

    • +8

by now I don't care if apple, google CIA or CCP has my data

Just wish they can protect them well

Don't let random scammer get them

      • +7

        apple, google CIA or CCP

Big reveal: they are ultimately the actual, real scammers.

    • +12

Almost every Aussie’s personal information has been leaked or stolen from the banks, telecom companies, superannuation companies, health insurance companies, the list goes on.
Almost every time I register something with my number online or at the store, there would be scam calls and texts straight away for some days.
Ask me if I care about someone’s listening to what I’m listening?

    • Just to go further down this rabbit hole, you can monitor outgoing traffic on your router

As a thought experiment, run a single internet connection with these connected to a single device that can access the internet

Incoming traffic obviously will be the streaming music or whatever

      Outgoing traffic should be minimal
e.g. skip next track to Spotify

Of course it'll be encrypted but you'll be able to see the byte size will be so trivial you can't send anything meaningful

Or maybe instead, don't play music through them, but just talk to the earbuds and monitor outgoing traffic.
      If there's a spike, it's suspect

    • I hadn't thought you'd be able to get multipoint at this price point, but it looks like you can with the Honor X5.

      • Baseus M2S also - but one annoyance with them is I can't stop the ANC (which is quite good) from turning off.

A further c. $5-$6 off if you click through via the coins page where discount increases to 22% off with coins.

US$18.76 for white and slightly cheaper for blue.

    Thanks hip OP!

      • In my experience, the coin based discount caps at 2 of the one item, and is wiped if you add anything else to you basket.

Effectively, the only way to make it stick is to add one or two of the selected item to basket and proceed to checkout. Makes it impossible to redeemed coin-based discounts and free postage for over US$10 spends on sub $5 items, unless you’re willing to pay additional for postage.

    • -1

I'm getting $19.40 for the blue?

      • +1

The seller increased the price, I do see this seller (Cutesliving Store) on the coins page now though so it should be a bit cheaper. I have found that adding to your wish list seems to help make the product appear on the coins page.

        • I’m not sure whether adding to the Wishlist makes a difference, but searching for said item or clicking on it in the main window will make it show up on the coins page if it’s eligible.

          • +1

            @UncleRico: You're right, that's good to know.

            • @Hiphopopotamus: The rhymenoceros is always happy to help you!

My other coins tip of the day, is to make sure you login daily and click the daily check in. Even for a low level user like me. I reached 70 coins a day after a few days and stays there indefinitely, awarding 70 points / US.70c per day.

        • Not sure why I was negged but ended up getting the white for 18.31.

  • Anyone know how do these compare to the Moondrop Space Travel? That's another paid of cheap earbuds that's got decent reviews too at this price.

    • I am going to assume they sound better just from the fact they are in-ears but they might be less comfortable depending on how you feel about sticking stuff into your canals

    • +1

I hate those in ear ones. Tried so many different tips, etc. and hate them all. Fall out. Ear gets hot. Irritiation. Wax everywhere.

These are semi in earbuds and personally found a lot comfortable

Most semi's I think sound stupidly tinny. I've bought heaps of wired ones previously like Yuin PK series, etc. and just never been that impressed

These (and Enco, Soundpeats to some extent) is the first time I've gone "WOW, it's not shit!" and can just enjoy whatever I'm listening to without thinking about what I'm missing out on

  • +2

I bought a pair of these last time because I wanted something decent for calls that didn't penetrate my ear canal.

    • Music/fullness of sound isn't quite as good as something like soundpeats air 4, still perfectly fine. I use it more for podcasts so don't notice
    • Mic quality is better than any other cheap wireless earphones I've tried. I'd say they're roughly equivalent to 2nd gen airpods.
  • For security reasons the code doesn't work. Thoughts?

  • Thanks op, got a pair

    • Did you get slugged for GST on top? Wants to charge me $39.05 including Tax.

      • I applied the code and fot it for the price advertised

  • Thanks OP. Great present for teenagers.

  • I bought a pair late last night. 🛒

It was shipped this morning. 🚚

Most reviews commented that the shipping was quite fast. One buyer in Ukraine said his order was delivered to Kiev in 8 days. Quite impressive considering they don't have many commercial flights anymore. ✈️

The pay after delivery payment option didn't accept my CBA credit card though.

    • aliexpress seems to have tightened up their shipping times

    • AliExpress has negotiated a far better rate with Australia Post and that with signatures too. Australia post is more than happy to be paid less for postage rather than delivering bulky packages that is posted in China and getting nothing.

  • Is the pair's sound quality better than the Galaxy bud2 pro?

  • Weird the previous model had a rubber tip which this one doesn't, I hate IEM because my ears get irritated so seems like a good inbetween but these are full hard plastic

    • I've worn them for 1-2 hours at a time without issue. They fit pretty snug for my ears but YMMV

Hate the rubber tips or covers, so a little bias

  • Bought this on an earlier deal specifically for WFH purposes (meetings/music) and honestly does a pretty decent job for the price.

  • What’s good for calls please?

People always complain they can’t hear me properly.. background noise.. they can hear every step I take like I’m stomping.. when I don’t .. every bird etc

  • +1

just out of interest, what does the app do?

    • +2

Gives access to gaming/low latency mode, control options, sound presets, 'find my earbuds' and firmware updates.

  • Will these work just fine without the app?

    • +2

Yes. But no firmware updates and the only controls are double tap to play/pause, answer/hang up.

      • Can't believe there's no volume control

  • I purchased the pair a month ago. sideloading the app is not a big issue at all. App is used for programming taps for various options. per price, it is a fabulous product, excellent for calling, the battery is impressive too. The only downside is, that it is neither a multipoint nor ANC.

  • Is there an app for Iphone?

  • +1

PSA: Cuteliving Store is sketchy af.. They have item from other stores but with cheaper prices. I saw the chuwi ubook x like 3 months 200$ cheaper than other stores but after 3 months and hundreds of order. Basically no review. They have a lot of item from other store but cheaper. Some of the reviews seem like they were copied from other stores. Buy at your risk

    • Most items says 100K+ similar items sold and not a single review. Those orders are not necessarily from Cutesliving store.

What does "similar items" refer to?
This refers to items you may be interested in that are similar to the item you are currently browsing, in terms of color, brand, style etc.

  • Anyone done a comparison between these and Apple Earpods/Airpods 1/2? (which they obviouly resemble quite closely)

  • I received my order today!

They're super comfy for jogging. The sound quality is surprisingly good, just as good as my wired headphones. 👍🎶

I'm really happy with my purchase!

    Thanks, OP!

  • WIsh i read this properly, no ANC.
What is the quality like on phone calls.
