Honestly, I bought a pair of New Balance with heaps of cushioning and it just feels great walking the dog. I wouldn't walk regularly in these over a long distance, it's not worth it.

I got one from their last deal for ~60. They are very good shoes for the price. I was gonna use them just for the gym but ended up using them a lot more frequently.
