Seemingly a new low for this one and thought some may be interested. I've been keeping an eye on the Edition XS but saw this pop up. Any thoughts on Ananda vs Edition XS would be welcome.

They didn't ship to Australia, you had to use a secondary shipping service and send to an American address and then to Australia, which completely shafts you if you ever need to warranty it.
I got some and am pretty stoked with them. Imaging is insane.
own the sundara, hows is compare to this ?
Sundara, this and then XS is a pretty clear order for me. I am far from an audiophile.
I use the XS everyday and prefer them over anything in the sub 1k bracket.
Ananda vs Edition XS is a matter of taste in terms of imaging, soundstaging, bass extension, and treble tuning. The Edition XS wins out until you hit the treble tuning, but there's some mods cropping up to take it further, apparently going up against the Arya.
Outside of this head to head, you've also got the Ananda Nano for at most $300 more.

Ooh nice. After considering the Ananda Stealth (mainly for the headband!) it seemed like the EXS was more my sound flavour. My EXS are on the way with the recent AliX Choice sale + coupons ($447) and was thinking about the Customs Cans headband adapter if the fit is too big - will see. Will keep an eye out on how this mod develops from beta, but I'll be EQ-ing probs to Oratory with some preference tweaks
