The Behringer U-Phoria UMC404HD is currently on sale for $155.94 at Amazon UK, it has been cheaper in the past according to Camel back in 2022. This deal is still decent as it retails for $299 in Australia.

  These are great and this is a good price. No drivers required on Linux. On Windows you want to install the driver or the behaviour is weird and can cause application crashes. Powered over the USB connection unless you need phantom power for any mic inputs, in which case connect 5V DC.
