  • They also have the Philips HD9880/90 7000 for $408.

  • This is a good price. I paid ~$340 and thought that was a good price.

    • $340 is a steal. RRP was around 699 or so.

I paid $518 as I had migrated from Kiwi-land and couldn't afford to wait more than 1-2 weeks, and was happy with it.

$318 for the most premium offering from Philip's is great.

The product will update and get better/supported over time, too.

      • Does this one have a full lcd screen or do just the numbers light up?

TGG has it for $328 auto price matching for those that didnt get the targeted ad

  • Any idea if this is worth upgrading to from the XXL premium?

I got JB-Hifi to go down to $418 for the HD9880/90 7000. Expensive for a thermometer but (I think) a requirement for doing roasts. $408 from binglee ebay but $10 extra for a brick and morter store is worth it. There are no Bing Lee stores in SA.

    • As kuripot posted 2 hours before you did, the thermometer is the only difference between the models [both have a place to hold the thermo]…and costs $26+shipping.

I think i need to be sinbinned for a while. Pity i didn't see that post

After comparing the two products, I found another difference in the display screen: one is LED, and the other is Digital. Purchasing the thermometer on that website costs $26.95 plus $12 shipping, bringing the price difference between the two products to only about $50. Therefore, I might still choose the 9880

If not targeted, just add it into the cart and leave it there. After a couple hours, you will get an email with a code of $20 off. That’s how I got it at this price.

  • If you are still interested, it is going for $287 with the Zip ebay sale. Not sure but maybe can also use ebay gift cards for an extra 3% off

    • zip has ended, $304 with FYEAR10
