Yesterday a workmate showed us his nice juicy kebabs - but enough with the office romance, here's the deal.

Item is currently OOS on Ninja and JB-Hifi - currently in stock and ready to rock with Amazon.

It has as larger surface area for air frying and grilling but it's not as deep as some of the other air fryer ovens out there so keep that in mind if you are after one for roasting. Unlike the Smart XL Grill Pro model available overseas, this one doesn't have a powered grill plate so pre-heating is recommended for use with the grill plate as it this model uses the air fryer heating element to heat up the grill plate. It does have a temperature probe that you can insert into your meat and you can use the presets for the meat to program your cooking, ie. choosing medium rare beef/lamb, pork, fish, etc.

Accessories included: splatter guard, temperature probe, grill plate, air fry basket, cleaning brush. The splatter guard, grill plate and air fry basket are dishwasher safe.

  Decent price compared to last month (pre mothers day pricing). I was very close to getting this one as the thought of steaks/kebabs/etc was very appealing but watching videos on it made me appreciate that for 99% of my meals which are loose finger foods (ie chips, nuggets, and other frozen goodies for kids) I value handle/ease of shaking over the grilling function. If not for this I would've gone for this to essentially take on duties of both BBQ and air fryer in one.

  I purchased one about 9 months ago, and it worked great up until 2 weeks ago, when it just stopped. I contacted the service department and just got an automated email saying that they are very busy and they will contact me, That was 2 weeks ago, still waiting…Ninja Australia Sucks

  Not the most elegant machine in the world but so far impressed with steaks and wings. Little noisy but worth nowhere near the $499 RRP
