I dont understand why bother. We have Coke and Doritos at Coles for under $5. This usa place is doubble the price for almost the same things.
Or perhaps you buy the USA flavours you can't get at Coles?
International food section.
Which Coles is this? If it has an extensive US section covering everything USA Foods is stocking it must be new. Mine has UK Dr Pepper and not Dr Pepper Cherry, Strawberry Cream or the others that USA Foods stock.
International food section.
Nope…
Nostalgia factor for people who have lived there is the main target audience, or a chance to try different flavours. "Almost the same" isn't the same.
If you don't get why people buy it, you're probably not the target audience. I've never seen pumpkin pie filling in the supermarket though.
I'd love to see pumpkin pie filling at Colesworth, surely everyone that tries a pumpkin pie loves it.
Not sure I need the 6lb tin these guys are selling, though.

Pumpkin pie is an acquired taste or maybe some people just never like it
I'm not a huge fan tbh and I've had store bought and homemade in the US.
Australian Costco's used to have pumpkin pie during US thanks giving time, not sure if they still do/will
Coke and Doritos taste different in the USA. No one is forcing you to buy this obviously.
and Pringles….
Don't you like High fructose corn syrup in everything?
Why Bother? Because I've never seen Cool Ranch Doritos, Cheddar and Sour cream chips, Pepridge Farms or Little Debbie snacks, Lemon Oreos, Root Beer, or Faygo (that's not a novelty flavour, a couple of those can be found elsewhere). Because it's nearly impossible to find good salsa here (I make my own).
It's the same reason you'd go to an Australian imports store if you lived in another country. For your Vegemite, Tim Tams, Shapes, Twisties, etc. It's for the things that you want that you can't get anywhere else because anywhere else doesn't sell them, not even in the international aisle (Vegimite and Tim Tams are the most likely things you'd find).
Or you go for the novelty. The Oreo or chip flavours you'll never see here, or lollies that not even a place like a dedicated lolly store would carry.
They still selling over best before date with very minimal discounts …. Like the Takis
Mmmmmm….. stale Takis….
Wtf, they increased the prices of their 12 pack cans of drinks, used to be $18-19.99 now they are $23.99. Website also looks like ass now.
Looking at Wayback I can see it being around $18.99 in 2022, $19.99 in 2023 and $21.99 last month so a bit of price jacking before this sale. Still 20% will put it down to 2023 pricing.
price jacking
Thanks for letting us know. Why so upset to defend this usa food?
The only people upset are the ones running around negging all of us. Everything I've said is factual and not opinion.
Besides pointing out price jacking is far from being upset.
And if Coles has started selling the limited flavours of soft drinks, please point me where because then there's no need to shop online with stores like this that are jacking prices.
They have learnt what ai is I think
If you love GMO, buy food made in USA. 93% of corn they produce is GMO, and corn syrup is used instead of sugar and is present in almost all products.
From the FDA.gov: "GMO foods are as healthful and safe to eat as their non-GMO counterparts. Some GMO plants have actually been modified to improve their nutritional value"
There's also no conclusive evidence that HFCS is worse than sugar.
Both hfc and sugar are bad for you, coke with sugar tastes better than the hfc (US) version, but that could be because of other reasons.
I don't drink Coke, but can tell you that US Sprite (with HFCS) tastes 100x better than the Australian rubbish.
I second this, had some coke in Vietnam, tasted like trash and i tipped it out
Is this discount in store as well or just online?
It seems you can click and collect
Excludes in-store (as per email sent this morning)
I buy online only deals all the time and click and collect. Not saying you are wrong but it's possible they mean buying in store. I think of them differently. It also saves them the cost of shipping.
I'm always buying random American ingredients but every time I look at USAFoods it's either available elsewhere cheaper or they're out of stock. I swear they just leave listings up to drive more google traffic to the store.
It seems they mostly focus on snacks but they've got about a million competitors now that every suburb has about 4 vape shops selling the same stuff.
most regretful purchase for me has been root beer from costco, stuff tastes like how deepheat or other ointments smell. I've had 2 cans, need to pawn it off to someone else
You can return it to Costco. I've found them pretty good with returns when you try one or two and dislike it.
i didnt know that
They are very good on returns for poor quality foods.
Over half of their products are "out of stock"
They were a good store when they started some 10+ years ago but times have over-taken their shop. That is, most (if not all) of the products they sell are now available cheaper elsewhere.
In essence they are past their "use by date", just they don't realise it.
Lots of great products at this place, That are not at my local speciality store. Id rather support these guys then colesworth (the companies that destroy small businesses and suppliers).
no combos in stock :(
Extended until 11:59pm tonight!
What a rip off shop
