    4GB is still fine for a Chromebook I reckon, the RAM is the least of this thing's problems.

    my old laptop has n5030, 4gb, win10H (full not S) works fine for light home usage, no lag, even runs rimworld with less than 10 pawns ok

    this deals cpu has a lil bit more grunt than mine

  As someone who brought this and returned it the next day. Total dogshit… even with Chrome OS its slow and runs like garbage, Not enough ram its always swaping to the harddrive. Just don't.

  Been using this older version for 3 or 4 years as my daily computer https://www.pbtech.com/au/product/NBKLEN82014I/Lenovo-IdeaPa… absolutely love it. Have been a Chromie for a decade or so now, will happily ramble tomorrow if anyone wants a review, but it does everything I need and still has a kickass battery life.

  Paid about the same price back then, you get what you pay for. Want a fancy pretty screen? Go buy a MacBook. Want something reliable, durable, nice and snappy, with a nice ergonomic feel / layout and a very decent battery life? Jump in. RAM means sweet (profanity) all with ChromeOS, 4GB is PLENTY.

  Bought this Chromebook at my local JB Hi-Fi this week instead of buying online on Amazon like this now expired deal to eventually replace my Lenovo N22 Chromebook that I purchased at Officeworks in 2018-2019.

  Paid $297 (PM with OW)-so a bit more than this expired Amazon deal.

  Yeah, it's only got 4 gigs of RAM and a bit slowish but the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 does the job for me-web browsing, editing Microsoft 365 documents and running Android apps and some Linux (Crostini) apps plus Steam Link and GeForce NOW cloud gaming.
