      Mind you, FE model doesn't support traditional Samsung Dex mode on display out - only had standalone dex mode ('desktop mode'). This is a feature I love on my Galaxys s20 FE but can't use on my A8 tablet.

    S9 FE for uni notes? Seems like a pretty awesome option.
    Doesn't seem quite as good for $450 when there was a deal to get it for $320 + buds FE and accessories 7 months ago..

    Should I buy Tab S9+ or Xiaomi 6s Pro. Price is similar but I prefer the 3:2 aspect ratio on Xiaomi more. Can anyone advice, @Clear. Thank you.

      Xiaomi 6s Pro has the advantage of an IPS display with better brightness/pixel density and a 144Hz refresh rate, however the S9+ is using a Dynamic AMOLED panel if that's what you prefer at the cost of lower brightness/pixel density and a 120Hz refresh rate. The S9+ is IP68 waterproof rated too.

      In terms of performance there's identical CPUs/GPUs but the Xiaomi's base model is 8GB RAM with no expandable storage versus the 12GB RAM in the S9+ with microSD card support. The S9+ has GPS and WiFi 6E while Xiaomi has no GPS and WiFi 7.

      For the battery the S9+ is slightly larger but it only has 45W charging versus the 120W in the Xiaomi. In terms of cameras the Xiaomi has higher megapixel cameras but I'd be confident in saying the software will be better with Samsung.

      Then of course you have the issue of local warranty. I think if you're willing to spend the big bucks the Samsung is probably the safest bet.

        Yeah, but depends on your preference. I wanted 5G. I think it'll be nice to have the convenience without need to hotspot your phone, when on the go.

      Got the S8U aswell. Not worth it imo, just a chip upgrade and waterproof.

      Never knew the S8u wasn't waterproof - mine lives by the sink and gets bathed on when I do the dishes.

      They all have different use cases, but main differences are the sizes go up in terms of screen size. Best to go into JB Hi Fi and have a look.

      The Ultra is absolutely massive. It's not a tablet IMO - very unportable.

      I'm eyeing the S9 plus. The ultra has a notch… That said, not much differences except for size, storage, ram and cameras for the s9, s9 plus and s9 ultra and they all have the same chip (snapdragon 8 gen 2).

      I believe the next s10 tab range will be announced in June or July.

    Absolutely love my S8+, I use it everyday as a media consumption device. Also use it for light productivity like office and emails.

    I haven't purchased myself a laptop since buying Galaxy Tab S6 and now Tab S8+.

      Depends on the ecosystem you prefer and if you're willing to spend an extra 30-50%. Apple charges extra for the stylus too whereas the stylus is included for the s9 tab range.
