  • At 2k, are these actually good value?

    • +2

      Yes

        also yes.

isn't there also 10% off coupon atm? plus use jb gift cards.

bought one for mum at 1920 and at first had buyers remorse when my friend said the 400 aldi one was amazing.

but then i saw this in action and how well it cleans and ended up buying one for myself at around $1730 (current price plus the 10% promo plus gift card).

I'll never have to mop again… and barely vacuum. and thank God, cos i have to do mums and mine.

It obviously can't do small corners and behind doors, or stairs. So occasionally i get the stick vacuum and zoom zoom the corners, but the clean this thing does is amazing, and you set and forget.

The docking station is giant andmum has 2 floors so it's annoying that i have to carry it upstairs occasionally. but downstairs is the high traffic and dirt area so i only take it upstairs occasionally.

There was a little step into the bathroom so i had to buy a little rubber ramp. if your floors has heaps of levels, then a robot isn't for you.

Upkeep might be expensive with having to buy new mop pads and vacuum bags etc but all machines have that.

My only wonder is whether they're safe laminate/floating floorboards. If anyone has experience with that, please let me know. I was worried if might ruin the floor over the years so I'm hesitating with changing my floor! (which i would love to do, but with my dogs dirty paws, I'm worried about the constant cleaning the robot will do!)

        • Current perks (10% off) does not work on floorcare, I tried.

  • Highly recommend Dreame l10s proheat with cheaper price $1647 at the moment and nearly same functionality.

    Not worth $1947 IMO
    Poor customer support from Dreame!

  • Depends on the value of your own time, but we found the proheat model excellent value. Initially it was eating kids toys, now it is quite good at not getting stuck - not sure if AI learning V people learning to put things away.

  • Personally I've decided that I'd like to hold out for the next gen of robovacs that incorporate roller-style mobs rather than the current style. There are a couple on the market already doing this with impressive mopping results, but they come with too many other compromises. Once roborock or dreame use the roller mop style design I think it'll be a gamechanger
