  • Is this all stores? Not on website

    • It shows on powerpass at that price in all stores

Do you have the Bunnings part number so can check stock please

        • Yes, we need the Bunnings IN number, it is not showing up under PowerPass as someone stated.

  • I didn't know they sold engine oil. Good deal.

  • Is this special applied in every burning warehouse? I just bought a 5L Hyspec 5W-30 oil from Super Cheap Auto…

  • Awesome, both cars I have take this oil, keen to see if it's stocked locally in WA.

Is this any good for a Tesla Model 3?

    • +1

Use it to oil the muffler bearings.

  • i posted this in the last oil post but wasnt sure if it was nation wide or only the store I was at

  • Saw it at bunnings today, it's shame. It won't fit our car…

  • Autobarn says it suits my 09 civic sport's K20z but supercheap says it doesn't suit.

      What does your manual say?

      • +2

        It's probably an automatic

      Try the nulon website.
Each oil brand has a website and that's the only one I'd trust.

  • How is nulon brand compared to castrol?

    • +3

Depends on which Castrol. You want to buy an oil certified for your engine type.

This Nulon would be comparable to Castrol edge.

      • -1

        Oh just meant generally

Castrol edge would be full synthetic right

    • +1

I have been using it for years and it seems good. I like it because it is Australian made

      • Thanks

    • +2

Oil is a fungible product if the specs are the same.

      • Right thanks

    • Used this on my corolla and could not tell the difference with Castrol

      • +3

TBH I can't tell the difference with any of these oils. I just use cheapest and go for the best sales and stock up.

        • +1

Same, as long as you change it on time or before. It's all the same imo

      • Right thanks

  • This is fairly common deal at my local Bunnings Arundel QLD.

    • Have also seen this at the Manly West Qld branch

  • Yeah the same deal pops up @ Autobarn or Costco too randomly. But sweet price!

Ive never seen engine oil at my bunnings warehouse. Is it only specific ones that have it?

    • It's usually hidden in the tool section

  • Is this better than Gulf Western 5w-30 oil?

    • Do a thickness/viscosity test by shaking the bottle & see how watery the oil sound & feel: Gulf Western vs PREMIUM-brand.

THINNER-oil in the 5W-30 spec is best if you drive for mileage.

My REAL-life test: 5°C or lower cold-morning start & NO overnight-use…see if you can work out why the EXTRA-noise & INITIAL-resistance of your engine parts to move-freely-> https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/15184059/redir

For those in the know, it's 'trials & errors'…fine-tuning selecting the RIGHT-oil for YOUR-use….ON-SALES: whatever PREMIUM-Brand you prefer.
