Ah yes, the african samurai in feudal Japan who also happens to be gay. Ubisoft has gone all out on the DEI credentials. It's not that I would boycott a game because it has gay characters, it just seems like a distraction from what the franchise has historically produced…which is games about murdering people in devious & crafty ways (and doing parkour) not about who they purport to be attracted to
I share the same view. I won't boycott the game because it has gay characters, but I will be damned if I am paying full price for pixelated intimate scenes!

Considering Baldur's game cost $99, and that is a great game. Not last Ubisoft AAAA rubbish cost your more.

Also, if I were Japanese, I would be so dissapointed. I mean they could have chosen any one of the revered famous historical figures like Miyamoto Musashi, Toyotomi Hideyoshi or Date Masamune. If they wanted to be DEI they could have chosen Tomoe Gozen.They're just the people I've heard of, and I'm sure there are plenty of other significant figures. Instead they choose an obscure foreign guy.

Putting aside the DEI stuff, ubisoft games are steeply discounted a few months from release. Dont think this is a good deal, imo. =/
