You get at least a few minutes to place additional orders from your cart. I managed two orders as the third one was ‘not accepting orders at this time’ probably due to getting slammed with the $1 deal

Well naturally I would think the "price too high" one would get the highest chance of discounts. Got 90% off 1 month and then 90% off 3 months next time I went to cancel by clicking this.

Signed up on our second account, albeit with a free deal 2 months deal, and we didn't get the promo sadly.

@trixieb: They haven't banned my account yet. Just removed the uber $1 promotion banner. But I can still access the available list of restaurants with the offer by going through google history and it works.
@Bonemusher: The $1 banner is removed even after one order. You should be fine as you didn't make 14 orders lol
@trixieb: thats BS he cant make 14 orders. Uber only allows 4 simultaneous carts so max you can do is 4 orders per account.
@Jaduqimon: Other people are reporting a glitch where the $1 still shows up after they have completed a few orders. This may explain why he could do 14. I would have problems finding 14 restaurants

I was able to get just 2…then realised that some of items I checked before buy were added to cart holding to complete transaction with the promo price… So try to request it straight away because after the second order was preparing prices changed back.
Dunno with scheduled ones.

Deal finally popped for me after showing Check back Later all of yesterday in Perth.
Ordered a Combination Fried Rice for delivery now - was going to place a few more but instantly the banner and deal has disappeared after that one order. $1.97 for a meal is still delightful! Thanks OP :)

Ordered enough food to last my partner and I the whole week. All purchases were refunded this morning, yet no orders were cancelled, and I have one being delivered right now.

@trixieb: I did like 14 orders. Ppl downvoted me for it earlier, but I bet they'd jump on a price error deal in an instant (something which actually harms the business).
I haven't tried ordering a ride. I think I'll just get a cheap sim and create a new account
@trixieb: That would suck. I've read some people have success with a VPN, incognito browser, and fresh sim + email. I'll have to give it a go.
What does your banned message say? I have a feeling I've been banned.
@charzy: There's no overt message. I can't place orders on either account using any of my cards. Even new cards through revolut don't work. I can still browse restaurants and add items to my cart, just can't check out.
@socialistshroom: Similar I can browse and add items but I'm getting an error trying to place an order, it refers me to help.

I might reach out support see what's happening. Might be a risk block for ordering above a threshold in a short time.
@charzy: Cheeky update. I bought a $5 gift card on Amazon and used it to order a $2 pizza. My cards are still blocked but at least this works!

@lilkid28: Yeah so tonight my driver picked up my food and presumably ate it. I tried reordering via gift card on the same account where my cards were blocked, and the order went through.
That was a temp charge for the order. They will charge again when orders are delivered

I just ordered pizza and Thai for $6 delivered. I’m baffled how this makes money.
Uber takes the hit, same as Amazon used to be in business losing money initially. Or maybe like a drug dealer giving away free hits.
My $7 order was refunded as well but still got delivered. Only used offer once so not sure why lol

Scheduled 2 orders for tomorrow. When I view the order in the app and select ‘Edit Order’ they are both showing full price.
I placed an order yesterday for $1.97 delivered. Received a notification from my banking app later that the full price was charged but I did not have a screenshot of the original price, so I cancelled the order and received full refund.
Scheduled another order at the same price with a different restaurant. Received a notification from my banking app today that $1.97 has been refunded, but the order is still there in my app. Will see if it gets delivered tomorrow.
I'm in Perth and have been able to place 6 orders (and more if I want but also had Lite and Easy delivered yesterday so don't really need the food). Once from each store.
One is in the process of being delivered. 2 are scheduled for tonight - pick up. And three scheduled over the weekend. Sort of expecting the weekend ones to be cancelled.

No, the banner / offer page remained and could keep ordering.
I ordered 4 around lunch time and the other two after work.
Didn't have the banner around dinner time but I remembered what stores had the offer. Managed to place 2 consecutive orders (not saved cart) and then the offers didn't show up in the restaurants anymore
Only managed to sneak in 3 pre-orders before the rest changed back to full price.
If you go into the pre-order and select ‘edit order’, is it showing the discount or full price?

Change your address when page loads
Changed my address, saw which restaurants had the offer. When I logged in to click, there was no uber one offer. Think it's done after you use it (like in 1 lot)
