  • Bunnings Mentone has few in stock. Just picked up one. Any good deals on battery?

  • +1

Bunnings Acacia Ridge have 2 in store.

casually looked online and this store has stock. ordered one as click and collect and just collected now.

    • Called them and all gone

      • +1

I suggest visit store in person. these 2 on aisle are not in the system for stock checking.

  • In stock at Preston, VIC, get in quick!

    • Must have been too late on this, ordered yesterday arvo and was cancelled

  • +1

Just a tip for getting an item that is "out of stock". Try changing your home store to a store that has stock and then order for delivery. Bonus if you have Onepass for free delivery (I did a trial signup). It seems Bunnings delivers from the store you have selected as home store, so if no stock in that store, then no delivery option.

    • I accidentally did this on the first day of the promotion, and it worked!

I was initially wondering who could do click-and-collect for me three hours away, but then I changed my mind to delivery.

    • No longer accepting online delivery orders for the reciprocating saw

    • Yep that’s how I got mine and free delivery with one pass trial.

  • +2

Missed out on the reciprocating saw but got sent a $20 bunnings voucher as compensation

  • Just got one from Acacia Ridge store this morning…seems there are random re-stocks happening.
At the moment (3pm Wednesday) there is stock available at Pimpama and Southport.(probably not many)
I check online and select the 'choose another store' and keep repeating this, and on a PC it seems to give far more stores than using the app.
The saleslady said the special is still on until the 24th…if you can find stock.

    • +1

      Yep, random re-stocks aplenty.

For Sydneysiders, Leppington and Penrith have a few of the reciprocating saws: https://nrby.in/bunnings/0412278

Can't get delivery to work though. Some (like myself) may need to hypermile their way west..

      • sweet thanks
3 left at Leppington so hopefully my click and collect went through

  • I also noticed some restocking. Is there an end date to this deal?

    • May be this Saturday when Aldi items go on sale

    • Probably this weekend as others are saying. You might get lucky waiting for a local store to re-stock, but with days to go and at less than a third of normal prices, these are ripper deals and need to factor in travel/time costs for click-n-collect versus missing out completely.

  • I subscribed to Onepass but couldn't get free delivery on the multi tool.

"This order is not eligible for free delivery, items in your cart exceed parcel size."

    • not true … i got it delivered free via ONePass

      • Sigh. I'm not sure how to get around this. It wouldn't allow me to proceed for free Onepass shipping.

  • FYI - I returned one and it is showing as 'low stock' at the Glenorchy store.

  • +1

just picked one up from Bunnings Eastgardens

  • Restock in Hawthorn VIC, 4 left for C&C, get in quick.

  • +1

Not sure if this is restock I saw Gawler SA had 8 in stock an hour ago (I had never seen stock at any SA store since seeing this post). Unable to get it delivered so go for click and collect. Now 7 left. Guessing a two-hour round trip to the shop is not too bad for this deal.

    • 3 left now.

    • +1

I just ordered a saw via click-and-collect at Mile End.

      • Got my confirmation from Mile end. Still shows 3 in stock online.

        • I ordered a multi-tool and I thought that I ordered a saw but mistakenly ordered a second multitool. Now there are no stores available. Just my luck! Hopefully they may come back in stock.

  • Restocked in Hoppers Crossing VIC

  • Restocked at Stafford Qld

Stock available in Penrith, Smithfields, Blacktown in Sydney as well. Just ordered and my order is now ready to collect!

  • I just got a confirmation to pick it up at Coburg VIC. It is in low stock now for anyone wanting to give it a go. Frankston shows in stock, but they cancelled my order quickly, making me feel like they were too lazy to go and look. Especially, stock check shows 8 left at Frankston

Stocks are back in some locations.

  • +1

Thanks OP. I don't even know how these tools work but I bought both Lol

  • I asked at my local last Friday and they said it sold out quickly with people buying multiple saws. No raincheck and can't buy the display model. Check online today and it showed up as in stock. Placed a click n collect and got a confirmation to collect within 15 minutes.

  • +1

Managed to get an order placed and paid for at the Special Orders desk for the reciprocating saw at the sale price, to be notified and fulfilled when a restock arrives early next week.
Seeing as the Aldi special is likely due to end over the weekend, absolutely stoked with this!

    • Did you received your order?

      • Yes, but I will add that I dropped in to the store yesterday as I saw online that they had re-stocked and took a unit to the click-and-collect counter before they had picked my order.
Was showing around 6 units before I left, by the time I got to the store they were down to the last 2 units, so I'm glad I stopped in otherwise I think by the time they went to pick my order today they would have been out of stock again and I'd have to wait longer and/or risk the possibility of cancellation.

  • 4x of the reciprocating left Bunnings Alexandria. None of the multitool

    • Is that in QLD ?

      • Nope. Sydney mate

  • I got a confirmed order for click and collect yesterday at Moorabbin for the saw and multitool but shortly afterwards an SMS informing me they didn't have stock and will refund me..Close, but no cigars, nor tools.

  • Just managed to put an order through with Cockburn Central as the home store. Took about 20 minutes. The Bunnings website is worse than a 5 minute headache. What a piece of absolute (profanity) garbage it is to use

  • Looks like it is restocked in Doncaster VIC, at least from the website there is stock.

  • Had a go with the saw today. Pretty good tool for $44. Great for pruning etc, makes mincemeat of of small to medium tree limbs.

  • Link to saw is now showing Error 404

  • Just came back from Bunnings, Villawood NSW and they had 3 Multi-function Tool left on the shelf and no Reciprocating Saw left (except the 1 on display).

  • I have Ryobi tools, with 2 small and 1 large batteries.

Does anyone know what would be better. Buy ozito batteries or buy a Ryobi to Ozito battery adapter. The adapter looks to cost $30 on eBay, so doesn't seem like a huge saving over buying one of the battery kits.

  • Link to the brushless multi-tool is now showing Error 404 and it's not coming up in a search on the Bunnings website.

Just cancelled a pickup order for a saw in Altona Bunnings.. Was able to score one in our local.. can confirm there are 2 more multi tools inMelton. Still at 44$.

  • +1

    Woodville order cancelled.

    Last one Prospect ya.

Still some stock showing down South, Seaford & Noarlunga be quick.

This unit is much better than my old one with the 180deg head rotation, however feels heavy.

Several brushless multi-tools left at Notting Hill, Vic this morning. I was able to do a click n collect for the brushless reciprocating saw yesterday evening and when I was at the store I picked up the multi-tool. The lady at the tool shop was pricing oddments items and while chatting to her she priced a $41.95 Diablo "Demo Demon" 12" blade (for pruning branches and cutting clear (no nails) studs) for me for only $5 😁

  • Bought the saw today from Bunnings Tuggerah, NSW through click and collect - didn't look to see how many were on the shelf, but maybe try your luck!

I think it was a run-out sale, and it's over, as I can't even find the item on the Bunnings website now.
The only way to get one now would be to visit a store in person, if you're lucky.
No stock at Pimpama, only the display model.
I also checked all the shelves and there wasn't even any yellow price tickets (I checked both 44 and 169) or empty spaces.

    • Bunnings is just price-matching/beating Aldi (it’s in the OP). Items no longer being on the website is probably due to out-of-stock or low-stock nation wide so it’s easier to remove from site than keep letting people purchase online then cancel those sales. They will return on the website once stock is replenished. It’s not the first time it happens.

      • If the item is currently unavailable, it is best to mark it as expired. Once Bunning restocks from suppliers, we can reactivate this thread. This approach is preferable to keeping the thread active while the item is actually unavailable for purchase.

        • Currently unavailable on the website is not totally unavailable.
Someone mentioned they found stock instore today.
Regardless, I’m not a mod, the OP or a Bunning employee.
If people feel that strongly about it they can always report the deal as expired ¯_(ツ)_/¯

    • why do people keep saying they can't find it on the website when its right there when you click on the link

  • +1

If anyone in WA is interested in the brushless saw, I just picked one up from Mindarie. They had around 6 on the shelf. Still going for $44.

  • Conflicted! Went into store today to get one of the reciprocating saws and the salesperson in the tool department said they are trash, and to buy the Ryobi at minimum as a better option. I already have Ryobi skins and batteries so this made the decision even more tricky. Walked out undecided.

    • I used mine to cut up some branches from a tree I have previously cut down. Through that is was great for that purpose, especially for $44

    • They are probably selling these at a loss to match aldi. May just want you do buy the non discounted product.

I gave my one a decent workout on the weekend. Works fine.

It's got a 5 year warranty anyway and the battery and charger is only $25. Worth having one in another series so you can get future deals as well.

edit: I should add i have tried the brushed ozito one and it is pretty weak, maybe he was thinking of that. Stalls much easier than my brushed fatmax one. The brushless in this deal though is significantly better.

    • The blade makes a lot difference. The blade that came with the tool is trash.

    • Just get the Ryobi. You can't handle the RED club my good sir.

  • Back in stock around Melb in limited quantities, get in quick! My special order arrived today..

Brushless reciprocating saw is in stock at some Victorian stories. Just bought one from Nunawading store.

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-brushless-reciproc…

  • Was using mine yesterday! For $44 this is a sweet deal. Went through some tree roots under-ground like butter.

  • It feels like everyone who wanted a Recip saw has got one now - there's left over stock everywhere around me. They must be getting ready for them going back to their usual price.
I bought one at Pymble NSW just driving past and had a look.
When I tried last week, I was told they are promo stock so can't order in yada yada.

Don't forget the diablo blade while you're in store

    • Thanks, I needed a new blade but had no idea which one to get.

Was told by a staff member that the special price for the reciprocating saw ends tonight.

    • Yep. It shows up as $169 now. Not nice.

    • I got lucky and checked stock yesterday arvo to find a store had some so did a click and collect.
Picked it up last night and just tested it this morning on some firewood and it's awesome.

    • Clicked last night JUST before the price rise and picked up this morning. Had come back into stock at my nearest store. An impressive discount. Sadly pouring rain so I can’t try it out just yet.

  • which one of you is this https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/186466092405

    lol a little bit overpriced

    • so people actually buy promoted bunnings products and re-sell tehm on ebay

    • Broden?

    • The man is gotta make a living.

  • They’re back in stock, is it possible to get bunnings to price match Aldi?
