5% discount can be obtained by checking out in the Samsung Shop app (first order only).
10% discount can be obtained by providing the serial number of any Samsung device to their live chat (some people can get 15%).
Note: It appears they've made a strict requirement that the trade TV must be in full working order and free of damage/panel defects.

You have never heard of a Liquid crystal display?
Can I trade in a bulky crt tv or do they only accept modern tv that's flat?
@c9: Any tv
@easternculture: Thanks
Coming up as $1,836.00 - did they change it?
That's before the TV trade bonus and discounts.
Are you using the Samsung app?
Got it for $1321.60. Thanks
Far out, well done!
Did you had loyalty points from previous purchases?
I don’t think so. I got 15% voucher from chat. 5% for first order on app and $200 off for trade in.
How did you manage to get a 15% voucher? I have heard of this being offered in the past but I don't know what Samsung's criteria is.
@Maths Debater: Just messaged them saying i have ordered a lot of stuff in the past 6 months. Being a loyal customer if they could offer me a discount for the tv, they provided me with a 15% voucher
@CheapAsChip5: Max they'll give me is 10 %
@naedtrax: you weren't loyal enough
Total comes out to $1398.
Thanks, fixed :)
How do you get the 10% loyalty voucher?
Does it only work with a Samsung TV? Can it work with other devices?
So I just got off live chat and it turns out it's ANY Samsung device! Thanks for prompting me to double-check this :)
@Maths Debater: Pop into the local Cash converters and get a serial off their device? Or a display model in JB-Hifi?
@Bruceflix: You betcha ;)
@Maths Debater: so you need to send any samsung device back to them ?
@pinkybrain: No, they just need the serial number from any Samsung device to give you a loyalty discount.
By providing the serial number of any Samsung device to live chat.

There is the 65" S90C also on sale for $2037 before discount codes. Any thoughts on that model?
Considering there is very little between the two models, the larger S90C is a much better buy.
Thank you! I purchased this TV 9 days ago for $400 more from Samsung and just got them to refund me and give me a 15% off voucher to make up for previous use of 10% loyalty and 5% app vouchers.
My pleasure :)
Noting that you can order both TVs on the same order and get the trade-in(2) + loyalty + app discounts applied to the entire order.
Nice find OP, just ordered for $1398 delivered.
Thank you, enjoy :)
I had the worst buying experience with Samsung direct when I bought a TV via this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/830461#comment-14938089
I bought and paid for the TV via their website and approx 3 hours after buying it I decided that I wanted delivery changed to a different eligible free shipping address. I notified them and they advised that it was too soon in the system to change but to call back in 48h. I did that and from that point I probably made a dozen phone calls due to the TV being "stuck" in the system and not progressing. Each phone call was at least half an hour and each time I had to go through the whole saga again.
Then after the shipping issue they advised that I hadn't paid for the TV. I had clearly paid for it as I had an receipt and my bank statement showed the money had been deducted. Eventually I went through Fair Trading and after countless emails and phone calls between myself, Fair Trading and Samsung I was able to finally get my money back.
Having my money tied up and not knowing the outcome meant I missed out on a number of other TV deals that came and went and the whole thing wasted so many hours of my time.
Obviously this doesn't happen to everyone but when it happened to me and I did some research, it happens more often than you think.
I also learnt that Samsung Electronics was the number one complained about supplier with NSW Fair Trading last year https://www.nsw.gov.au/departments-and-agencies/fair-trading…
Thanks for sharing OP, got one for 1398. They couldn't do the 15% and decided to take the 10% which chat offered
My pleasure, enjoy :)
Thanks OP, got one for $1321 with 15% code and 5% first order
My pleasure, enjoy :)
what did you say to get the 15% code?
I just asked for a loyalty discount & the rep offered 15%
Education is cheaper without the loyalty voucher
I have a worthless 1080p TV so them taking it away is actually a bonus.
What about 32inch led monitor used as tv
Bought one of these a couple of weeks ago - it's still in the box as I haven't gotten around to installing it
I paid over $1700 and thought I got a bargain but seems that I was mistaken.
Tried chatting with customer service just now but they weren't interested in helping.
What a shame.Not a bad deal. I wonder if Samsung actually makes the OLED panel in this or is it a third party made panel.
Samsung manufacture QD-OLED.
Been hunting a 77" or any of the other Super Skinny Samsung TVs 75" or above - Unfortunately the 77 doesn't seem to be available through the website :(
Thanks OP. Got a 10% loyalty voucher for the 2015 model Samsung TV I paid $700 for. I am also trading that in for $200. What a bargain!
My pleasure, enjoy :)

How do you drain a tv? I'm trading in an LCD / LED tv
Drill a hole in the bottom of it so the crystal drains out
If you choose "no" to the question if tv is in full working order, it still applies a $200 discount
