      Because Apple don't tend to discount you generally end up paying more at the start but the depreciation is slightly less over time.
      Samsung discount heavily so if you can avoid the new phone FOMO feeling and wait 3 months to buy you'll find the depreciation curve is somewhat similar to Apple.

      Sure at full RRP Androids depreciate like a rock (due to discounting.)

        My main problem with them is the cost or screen replacement. I don't know how much it's up to right now. But it's definitely expensive.

    That's why you buy Samsung at half the value to start with. Last year night the s23ultra for 1300 and this year s24 ultra at a similar price.
