  • Anyone care to share their experience on Cebu?

Be skinny. Very skinny and slim shoulders. They put 9 seats across instead of the standard 8 seats which isn't my idea of fun.

        7 Americans across = 8 Aussies across = 9 Filipino across

    • Budget airline pretty much the same as most others flying the same/similar routes.
Aircrew typically are friendly and helpful.

Cebu Pac have - in the past - cancelled flights and routes booked well in advance (like these), refunds were eventually provided but it was a pain.

I have and would again fly with them direct to Cebu, however never again to/from Manila, for reasons more to do with the airport and city than the airline (but they didn't help either).

    • from my personal experience, the worst. i will pay extra for either qantas or philippine airlines. once you add your luggage and food, you mine as well pay for Qantas or PAL.

from my personal observation, flying with cebu are mostly filipinos from Philippines, while qantas are mostly white Aussies going on holidays, and PAL are filipinos living in Australia.

cebu is horrible because it is made for tiny filipinos, seats are small, tight, and no leg room. no entertainment, and you have to buy snacks and drink on the flight.
you also have to pay for check in luggage: more weight = more money
i just want to land already and get off this horrible airlines. it felt like i was 1/2 there, but only an hour passed :(
if you are broke you have no choice, you are flying cebu.

Qantas is more relaxing, roomier, has entertainment, food, drinks, and alcohol. check in luggage is already included 30kg. i really enjoy my 8 hours on the flight.

PAL is the middle ground with a tick closer to Qantas.

i don't mind budget airlines flying for 1.5 hours, but 8 hour international flight, HELL NO!!!

So much drama. I have travelled multiple times. Is ok, nothing fancy, but way better than Scoot.

  • Melbourne showing as $384 for me, 2nd to 29th Oct?

    Never Adelaide sigh

    • CebPac don't operate flights to/from Adelaide.

Would prefer a sewing needle inserted through the eye of my phallus rather than flying again with these clowns masquerading as an airline

  • Isn't this the airline that keeps cancelling people's flights?

Even worse when you buy through one of these dodgy resellers because you're adding another third party layer.

    Just not worth the risk.

  • I flown quite a few times. They can be ok if you know what your getting into. If you travel with just carry on can deal no meal. Its the cheapest option to go to the Philippines. After adding seat selection (got the middle seat once when i didnt pay, never again) costs are more like $400 return. On average delays are 1 to 2hrs on a 8 to 9hr flight

  • I tried to buy, and indeed, the price seemed to be around $300, but on the checkout, when trying to pay, the price doubled.
It seems that this is a scam of Cebu (adding taxes (and more) at the payment stage)

  • Found a decent deal $330 return but checked in baggage pushes it to $510! Good deal for anyone who just takes carry on.
