I had a somewhat troubled warranty experience with the seller, 6.5/10.

Can you take this for camping for few days?

    • +5

Take a friend; they are more chatty

      • But they also steal your drinks and eat your food.

      • For some, this is the reason to take the battery bank!

    • Yes! We used a similar model to keep our phones, speakers, and dry-herb vape charged. Can't keep things plugged into it or it won't last a full day, but a few hours of charging a day and it lasts ages.

We also take it out to the garden when we want to chill outside so it's like a portable power outlet for us.

500w Max output, not that great.

    • There's really not much you can power with 500W.. you can't even power an electric kettle.

      500W/230V ~ 2A…. not much.

      • +2

        Yeah it's not much.
But running anything that heats, particularly fast, is the most demanding thing you can ask for power wise e.g. kettle, toaster. To get one of these that powered a kettle, you're looking at something far more expensive.

Looks like they are not the latest lithium iron phospate batteries, avoid

    • +3

Yeah pretty sure this is Li-ion

  • +1

Style looks very similar to this https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/matson-matson-mapp030-24… whgich was lithium ion.

    • 296Wh and 300W max

      • +1

I think the design style is similar IE may have come from the same factory and the above one is definitely lithium ion

    Lifespan
LiFePO4 batteries offer a longer lifespan than lithium ion batteries, with the ability to last up to 10 years in the right conditions. On the other hand, lithium ion batteries typically last around 2-3 years. This is due to the chemistry and materials used in their construction. Of course, lifespan can also be affected by usage patterns, charging habits, and other factors, but the general consensus is that LiFePO4 batteries outlast their lithium ion counterparts.

LiFePO4 batteries are the safest of the lithium batteries, because they will not catch fire, and won't even overheat. Even if you puncture the battery it will not catch fire. This is a massive upgrade over other lithium batteries, which can overheat and catch fire.

waiting for the Kings 12ah power pack to drop under $100.
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/823441

    it’s LifePO4 and 12ah @ 12.8v so 41500mAh @ usual mah spec.
I don’t need huge ones like Bluetti. Kings is compact enough to use around the house but should still have enough charge left for a power outage.

    • I use my spare ozito batteries and their USB adapter for about the same amount, its only 5v but depends what you need

      • I got a couple makita batteries here says 5ah 18v so 90Wh yeah closer to 153Wh of the Kings than I thought given the size of each battery. two of them would be 180Wh.
but I need 60w output will be more handy in a power outage so I can charge all kinds.
