You know you can subscribe instead of commenting? Just thought I’d let you know fyi

      • Thanks aha haven't used this feature before

      • +1

He's putting the question straight out there

    • +7

Is "meh" - I don't have ultimate hair to rapidly cut

  • +2

Got the older version for about 2 years now, highly recommended

    • similar, had a corded wahl early on in covid but bought the older version about 18 months ago and it's great to use.

Beard and hair done in on go every couple of weeks, trim the beard in between, works perfect.

      • +7

It's the beard in between that worries me. No problem reaching?

      • Works well for beards then? I’ve been using my OneBlade but after something that trims better and is longer than 10mm.

  • +4

I’ve had 3 of these now over many years. The new one is better because of the detachable head and the extra mini head which lets you do chest too without missing bits. In addition the clip ons are better designed and I haven’t broken any clips yet off the attachments.

Into the product itself, just amazing been cutting my own hair for years

  • +1

Damn, missed that Target price! :O

  • is this model water proof / safe to use in shower?

    • +1

Would also like to know. It claims ‘fully washable’, but I’m not sure if that’s the same thing as using it when wet

    • Previous model certainly is so I'm sure this is too.

    • its not

  • Been trying to get my hands on a pitbull gold but I swear they don't bloody exist. At this price maybe I pull the trigger on one of these as an interim solution.

  • +3

I have had one for about 1 year, use it every second day in the shower.

It is waterproof and still going strong.

I dont change the heads in the shower ( they part thay connects to body is lubbed)

Also give it a spray with shaver lubicrant for the blades when finished.

    • +2

part that connects to body is lubbed
      ( ͡- ͜ʖ ͡-)

      • Poor turn of phrase in hindsight. :0

  • +1

Does this work well to trim beards?

    • According to the photos on Amazon it does.

  • Have the old model for about 9 years now, still going strong even after I dropped it, just requires some regular maintenance with spray guard to keep the blades oiled up.

Use it both for a quick face shave and a haircut

Still waterproof, and for the price under $100 it was a steal, came in handy during covid.

  • Not for Nads

    • +2

      Oh, nuts :-(

      • +5

        username checks out

  • +1

Good price but the previous model seems unbreakable and is still going strong

  • +2

Just in time for mother's day

  • Thanks bought

  • +1

This is a really good price. Got one from a previous sale and it has already paid for itself. Bloody barbers charging $35 for a quick 5 minute shave… Now I can DIY in about 15 minutes including cleanup and get almost the same result.

  • I have both of the earlier versions of these. The first non lithium, the second lithium. Trying the third version out, dropped both a few times, almost always use both in the shower, but sometimes dry off and finish the job over the sink. Dropped on the corner of the blade on one and it's bent the end of the blade enough that it doesn't work as well as it used to and the other one one of the teeth snapped and it's a bit dangerous to use for facial hair around my mouth, it can nick your lips.

Been using for years now still highly recommend for anyone who wants to shave their own head, doesn't give the closest shave but still way faster than any foil shaver ice ever used, doesn't give as close a shave as a foil, gives you a stubble cut, but for close shaves I use a headblade shaver, the older one with wheel at the front was the best version of the headblade Ive used but the most easiest to take a chunk out of urself with. Now most of the times I just use the rapid cut and don't bother smooth shaving, as it takes to much time, for sick of getting nicks and chunks of my head missing, but still reealllly miss the feel of a smooth head that only a real blade can give…there's nothing like it, miss the feeling of my head on a pillow with no stubble and the look tbh.

    • Pulled the trigger on this deal though, thought I'd give the newest version a go…

  • Would this be good for my pet angora rabbit. Last haircut I gave it cost me $400 at the vets

  • I have the 2 older versions. I ended up swapping the blades on the v2 for the v1 as the v2 would scratch and pull hair. Otherwise these designs are excellent for saving time.

  • Thanks OP. I price matched with JB Hifi and used my perks voucher. I avoid amazon like the plague after they delayed my order without letting me know for 3 weeks and giving me false info by 2 different agents when i contacted them, before finally delivering it after I went to fair trading (yes it was sold and fulfilled by amazon au, they acted as if the item was from a third party seller)

  • This is not usable in the shower. Have broken 3 of them each within the 1st month.

I was given this model as a warranty on the older (showerpoor model) and kept using thinking it was the same. Have since found out this is ONLY a washable head.

I still have a 1st generation of this from 2017 that is still going and was used in shower all the time.

Do not use this in the shower

As an alternative, I just picked up one of these for $25.99 ($10 off tick box - PRIME?)
Perfect for those (above) who need to shave their rabbits, kids etc.

I wouldn't think it could be used whilst in the shower, but for $25.99, suits my needs and budget.
