Wahl Complete Cut Pro $38 + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ The Good Guys Commercial (Membership Required)

80

Postage to metro Sydney was $8. But I click and collected at the cost of 0.5L of fuel which is 85 cents.

Cut your hair for free using only electricity power. People with solar panels, it becomes completely free with no electricity cost if cutting hair between 7am - 6pm. Vs barbers now wanting $30 for a basic No. 3/ trim top with light fade cut.

You will need a friend / partner / family member to cut your hair though so they will need to go through training via Youtube which will take a few months and around 3 - 5 attempts to get it decent looking. There are downsides to this deal, this will not work for you if you are a lonely person with no friends or family to help you cut your hair unfortunately. So this deal is only for people that have someone that can cut their hair for them. But once this is achieved, the savings will be astronomical over your lifetime.

Need to be a member of GCC to get in. I use my Origin Electricity account to gain access to GCC. There are other ways to gain access.

For the people who don't have access to GCC, this is what it is: https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/wahl-complete-cut-pro-wa9243-…

    • Thanks for the link 😀😀

I've been shaving my own head for 20 years. 2nd person requirement is dependent on hair style.

  • Can I use this for pet?

    OP you're splitting hairs.

      Ozbargain Platinum membership.

      • A cut above the rest.

  • Wrong. I cut my own hair, I don’t need a second person. All you need is a mirror. You don’t even need scissors. You just need to change the comb sizes during the process so that the hair is longer on top and shorter on the sides.

  • $30 for a barber? I pay $55 for a haircut :-/ Not even getting a beer or any of those fancy treatments, just a haircut…

    • I know right, short back and sides boys, no frills haircuts are $50. Could be worse though, we still have hair =P

  • If you have an EV that you charge from solar this will significantly reduce your click and collect costs.

  • I have been using a cordless Philips which has been great but after about 5 years it’s getting weaker. So, this may be a good replacement. Given this is not cordless, Does anyone know the length of the cord? Is it long enough ?

    • Looking at the image, the small one seems to be cordless. Use the corded one for most part and cordless for the hard-to-reach back side i guess.
I have the corded one, it does the job..

  • Cant speak for the wireless side of things but I have had my Wahl clippers for about 12 years now, they are honestly unstoppable. Have gone back to a barber, missus told me I could get away with it when I was younger but not anymore lmfao.

    • Yea buy corded, always. Will last forever.

  • Side notes;
    - If you don't have GGC access its currently $50 via price beat, not as good, but not that bad of a price
    - Also GGC has a variance in rates account by account (its $35 on mine) not sure why, maybe expenditure over the years?

I've purchased one of these Wahl kits from the shaver shop a while ago. The build quality was crap, feels cheap plastic, but then again you get what paid.

When I saw the RRP and the savings I was excited to get it so cheap, but when I actually got it, I never trusted it by the quality of it. I wonder it is the same with this?
