      Note they are both Transflective Memory-In-Pixel Display (MIP) instead of OLED on newer model.

  Just a heads up… if you intend to use this for cycling, I've seen multiple people say it doesn't do cycling VO2max, even if you have a power meter. That's actually pretty rubbish for a watch this expensive, as there's no reason for it hardware wise, it's just not enabled by Garmin.

      Correct, it DOES running VO2max. But it DOES NOT do cycling VO2max.
