Holding out for a v10 or above. There was a Dyson deal on the v10 and v15 not too long ago, didn't need it then. Sure enough my trusty 10 year old DC54 died just after the deal ended :(

Great deal. The V8 is perfect for spot cleans. No need for all the bells and whistles. Not too heavy with a more balance centre of gravity. Plus you don't need to take the stick off to empty the bin.
