it's $143.20 couple days ago. looks like this is the best time now.
Don't buy if you done have a use case, mine is collecting dust for months now 😂 Only travelled with it once, it's so heavy and bulky. It's great but not easy to carry around everyday.
in the meantime I am really looking at the reviews of it….. looks like there are 8 18650 cells inside and I can imagine the bulkiness…
but then the price is really tempting…..I feel the same way but I ended up finding a use for it by keeping it in the car with it's included pouch… when I'm out and about, such as at a kids cafe, and my laptop is out of juice… it does a good job of charging it up!
How can you keep your eyes off of your kids 😂 I just worry about them than work etc. But it's a good idea to keep it in the car.
I bought a fast car charger that plugs into cigarette outlet, it charges within minutes and works great for phones. Never took laptop out to work mobile unless I am travelling.
@sqheaven: My eldest kid is old enough to play on her own in a ball pit and entertain herself, so I sit around drinking coffee and surfing OzB.
As for the car, I don't tend to park in hot places but even if I do, the AC turns on automatically when it gets too warm inside.
@jace88: Thats a really impressive feature (Turning on AC automatically)
May I ask what car is it?@PennyPincher11: tesla model 3 - basically if the car interior gets to 40 degrees (or you can set it to 30 or 35) the AC turns on.

I thought (most) people who bought an electric car were conscious about climate change - cooling an empty car would be the opposite…
@brotherfranciz: I bought it because I wanted a car, and with the FBT exemption, it was essentially the same price as buying a Golf.
@brotherfranciz: I don't see the issue.
Once the target temperature is reached, Tesla OS is smart enough to switch off the air con.For all we know, the owner is mostly charging their Tesla from Solar, and thus keeping their carbon footprint close to zero.
@jace88: So Tesla turns on air-con to cool the inside but what happens when it’s 45C + outside? Does Tesla have a self-activating fire extinguisher when its huge battery creeps into an unstable chemical loop. Good luck with that.

Yes, because clearly there's a thousand news reports of Teslas or other EVs turning into fireballs when parked in the summer sun.
What next, rehashing stories about vaccines causing 5G reception?
/s
@rumblytangara: You must live in a sun-deprived rust belt somewhere. Where we live, 49c outside is quite common.
@mike001: So you've got a constant stream of EVs blowing up near your place? I look forwards to you evidence, because that's exactly the sort of thing that the news outlets would be all over like a rash.
@mike001: Your post reminds me of a modern day nternet headline and clickbait article, full of false information and rubbish.
@eggaz: Not sure what you mean by the above gobbledegook.
@PennyPincher11: All teslas auto cool to make sure the batteries don’t get too hot and cook.
@stewface: Yeah, right, just like all those “safe” crappy Chinese scooters that catch fire just about every day despite their firmware algorithm that is supposed to keep it from going into meltdown.
Sorry, but Tesla reminds me of a glorified Chinese 4-wheel scooter.@mike001: Battery fires are mostly from faulty or damaged cells.
The battery management electronics are designed to prevent over charging or discharging. Which is mostly about reducing battery wear. In a quality battery neither will cause a fire.
The same is true for high temps. Lithium ion batteries wear faster if charged or discharged at high temps. But we are talking up to 60 degrees. It's not until they get up around 80 degrees that they start to fail and if temps continue to climb, they may catch fire.
The actual problem is not enough regulation to avoid poor quality batteries being imported.
hot car cabin and batteries don't mix!
@ltwo: There're batteries in cars now more than ever
There're batteries in cars now more than ever
EV battery packs are very carefully managed by sophisticated algorithms that avoid full charge and can kick in active cooling.
Fully charged 18650 cells kept in a hot car long term is the best way to kill off their capacity.
Why use a degradable battery instead of just charging via the 12V cigarette lighter socket?
@rumblytangara: Because I can’t do that when I’m sitting in the shops or at a cafe? That and my car is an EV.
I bought one (of those popular brands on Amazon) jump start battery of similar capacity for my car and motorbike. It has USB QC3 outputs and torch built in. Costing around the same price.
Did the same 🥲
As usual question, can we bring this when flying..
Yes up to 27k mAH is allowed
You can bring a max 160wh lithium battery (equivalent to 43ah x 3.7v) with a written exemption and up to 99wh (27ah) without.
Yes, it's branded 737 for a reason
So will fall apart during flights?
/s
Just a bit of the housing might fall off, no big deal, will still work even though lives may be at risk
That's a crazy deal
Literally just bought one on Wednesday for $138, might have to delete my account for such a failure.
You confessed. Your sins are forgiven.
Payment of your ozbargain license still required.
nice, will return the one I bought for 140$ and keep this one instead. that's a deal
Does anyone make like a decent 15000mAh powerbank with 65W PD. Need a liitle more juice than 10k but retain portability.
You just created a solution I didn't know I needed. This please.
Check out the cygnett pro series. Not quite 15k but they have 20k and 25k versions. I've got the 25 and it's been great over the past ~1.5years.
Paid 29 about 2 weeks ago on a lightning deal and does the job.
Essager. Hard to buy in Aus.

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005468226788.htmlPretty good for $55 but is occasionally cheaper.
Mine gives 94% of the rated capacity at 20V, 30W (which is what my laptop averages in use).
INIU have a 45W 15,000mAh model. I have not tested it.

Omg crazy price. Buy buy buy!
This thing is absolutely epic. Made working while traveling europe a breeze, best bit is 0-100% charge in like 30 mins with a 100w charger
OOS
Just placed an order, not OOS
Back in stock!
Wow, was on the fence for the longest time, jumping on it now!
jumping on it now!
That's not how you're supposed to use it!
Thanks, grab 100 unit
Price drop probably due to the newer Prime series power banks. May be hold if you don't have an immediate use of it.
Very expensive too. At $229.95
I've been waiting for the 737 Max version.
whats special about this powerbank? is it the 140W fast charging?
Performance laptops typically require 100W+, you need high output power banks such as this one to power it.
It's the passthrough stuff, and 140w charging. Also the screen I guess.
don't need it but bought anyway
What the weight?
About 5 days
Google says 635g it seems
Been holding out for a while for one of these. Just pulled the trigger with this deal, thank you OP
How this compares to Xiaomi Zmi No.20 210W 25000mah USB PD Power Bank QB826G?
https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08YKKZBYQ/?coliid=I1E9BV222S6Y…This is on sale for $111, Xiaomi isn’t.
Are they the same?
Similar enough but you would want Xiaomi if the price is the same. $130+ has been where both sits. There is only one shop that sells Xiaomi on Amazon, or that it’s the only one ever made to ozb. Anker is probably mostly local stock.
@Alley Cat: Thanks.
Out of Stock
still in stock
Anker 537 24k 65W is also on special at $89 on Amazon AU.
Great price thanks OP
Tried few but always end up coming back to this beast, about to pull the trigger for a second one. Love it
Bought one of these a few weeks ago for an overseas trip, worked super well on the flight for the Steamdeck and laptop.
my order shipped with sendle
This deal is crazy!
Wonderful Product, use mine regularly for phone and laptop.
Price drop likely due to newer/higher wattage model - Anker Prime 27,650mAh Power Bank (250W)
If you buy one of these, i recommend grabbing a protective case from Temu/Ali for it.
Anker Prime 27,650mAh Power Bank (250W) is priced at $300+
Holding for the upsized 10% cashback at 6pm, assuming it stacks perfectly.
Not sure if cashback still works with PLUSW25 code ?
Ahw works with PLUSW15 but not PLUSW25? The codesss confused me badly.
Yes same here. Was waiting for cashback then realized it's a different code
Bonus 10% cashback tracked but not the regular cashback.
@Yogi555: Good for you. I bought something else using the listed code but still not tracked sigh
A great power bank!
Some of you might have seen my posts here about power bank testing. I just joined the TechRadar AU team, and so have started putting reviews online.
My Anker 737 review - https://www.techradar.com/au/news/top-portable-chargers#sect…
I'm still adding more, but feel free to let me know any feedback, or specific power banks you want to see reviewed! (Many of the other Ozbargain favorites are reviewed in my power banks guide).
Hi @Prong , is there a reason to get this Powerbank if I have 2 Xiaomi Zmi no 20 Powerbanks 😀
Bought anyway.
Good choice! I really like the Anker 737 and use mine all the time.
The shape is sometimes annoying but also sits well in drink bottle or cup holders.
Reason: it has 140W (28V, 5A) fast charging, whereas the Xiaomi Zmi No. 20 Powerbank does not.
Btw the Powerbanks guide is very useful and has very clear information needed !!!
Thank you!
Do you pop these things open and look at the internals?
Not for any of the ones reviewed. I aim to for some in the future but for now I keep them in use, and periodically test capacity.
I do personally watch teardowns where available to get a better idea of the internal quality. And I have had one or two that failed and I opened up. But those models are not recommended!

How does it compare to Ugreen 145w power bank?
Do you NEED 140w?
The INIU 65w 20,000 for $35 is the one to get.
Where is this for $35? Says $70 on Amazon. Or is that with a coupon only?
Coupon. It comes and goes. Keep an eye out.

If you have a Macbook Pro which can benefit from 140w then it's great (that was my initial use case buying it). Even some of the ultraportable gaming laptops (eg Zephyrus G14) which can charge at 100w will benefit from these… but if not, then I'd probably go smaller/slimmer since the Anker is chunky and awkward to carry.
My Delorean needs all of the watts.
