[Perks] Polaroid RGB Wireless Kids over-Ear Headphones (Pink/Blue) $29.95 + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ JB Hi-Fi

60

Another pink cat headphone deal! It’s been ages since I last spot one. Not as good as the razor one but much cheaper. Blue is the same price. It does say kids, but afaik our heads remain the same size during our lifetime.

A few other things are on sale too, nothing too interesting tho.

$22 delivered at Amazon ($19 if you want purple)

Got them for my kids when they were on sale for $13 delivered, pretty happy with them (not the best but the kids don't care about sound, they just love the ears and flashyness).

    • Seems to be identical but different brand. Was gonna suggest price match at jb just for fun 😁

    🤔

    • That’s what I have been told. Children appear to be cute because they have oversized heads. The feature that keeps growing is our ears (and hair).

"According to experts, as with most bones in our body, the skull grows during childhood and adolescence, and it typically completes its growth by the end of puberty, around the age of 18-20. “Skull is mostly fully formed by the age of around 25."

        • From Dr Google:

To make room for the brain, the skull must grow rapidly during this time, reaching 80% of its adult size by the age of 2 years. By age 5, the skull has grown to over 90% of the adult size. All sutures remain open until adulthood, except for the metopic suture which usually closes between 6 and 12 months of age.

Interesting stuff. Personally I always had issues with helmets and hats since I was a child (head too big).

      • You wouldn't need to be told you could just compare your head with a kids.
Also if kids heads were the same size they wouldn't be cute they would have weird disproportionately sized ears mouth and nose with beady eyes.🤣

        • I’m not licensed to touch kids 🤣 Sorry that was something a friend told me when they got their child education cert 😂😂😂 You also need to compare the size of the child’s head with their earlier size as opposed to your own because everyone is different.

They do indeed look like aliens:

  • If you're an adult who wears these I'm going to assume you're a furry.

    • People are allowed to like cute things without making it into a fetish, just so that you know. Also it’s 2024, I think we are way past kink-shaming.

    • Fur enough.
