ISP Notes RE Coupons

a. Make sure to collect the coupon by ticking the "Apply coupon" box before checkout. Alternatively, you can add the product to cart and tick the "Apply coupon" box there. If you DO NOT see the coupon box, the coupon allocation has been fully redeemed. There is no actual code to enter at checkout – you must collect the coupon before checkout.

b. DO NOT UNSELECT PROMOTIONAL CREDIT AT CHECKOUT. Make sure you leave the "Use your $xx Promotional credit" box ticked at checkout. Amazon considers all Coupon discounts and Prime Exclusive deal discounts as "promotional credit". Therefore, unselecting promotional credit as part of your payment method will cause Amazon to remove any Coupon or Prime Exclusive discounts and thus charge you full price. If the you have Amazon-issued promotional credit in your account and the item you are buying is:

  • (1) Sold and shipped by Amazon, then Amazon will first subtract any relevant coupon or Prime Exclusive discounts, then charge the remaining balance with your Amazon promotional credit. You must pay with the promotional credit you have in your account, otherwise unselecting this will reverse any applied discounts as per above. Here's an example screenshot, where you see the coupon discount is applied (i.e. Your Coupon Saving), as well as the Subscribe & Save discount, and the remaining balance payment is taken out of your Amazon-issued promotional credit (i.e. Courtesy Credit) to complete the order (in this case the Order Total comes up as $0.00 - unless this deal post says free otherwise, it doesn't mean your order is free as you are still using promo credit, something treated as cash). If you do not have enough Amazon-issued promotional credit, then the Order Total will be the remaining balance that you must pay with a Gift Card or Debit/Credit Card.

  • (2) Sold by a Third Party Seller on Amazon, then Amazon will first subtract any relevant coupon or Prime Exclusive discounts (i.e. Promotion(s) Applied under Order Summary // or check below and see Your Coupon Saving), then you must pay the remaining balance with a Gift Card or Debit/Credit Card. Here's an example screenshot where despite me having Amazon-issued promotional credit, Amazon is unable to apply that to the order because Amazon is unable to apply Amazon-issued promotional credit to orders sold by a Third Party Seller. This means that even if you kept the "Use your $xx Promotional credit" box ticked at checkout, the sole purpose is to obtain the discount while your Amazon-issued promotional credit will remain the same as Amazon will not be using this credit to pay for the order.

Amazon Coupon Instructions

How to redeem the coupon:

  1. Add the coupon to your Shopping Basket by clicking the “Collect this Coupon” button. Each coupon is only valid for a limited time or while stocks last. Once you have collected a coupon, the date by which you must redeem it (the ‘Expiry Date’) will be displayed on the coupon. You will usually have until 23:59 on the Expiry Date to redeem the coupon. Quantities are limited and collected coupons may expire before the Expiry Date.

  2. To redeem the coupon by making a one-off purchase:
    a. Add a Qualifying Item to your Shopping Basket by clicking the "Add to Basket" button.
    b. When you're done shopping, click the "Proceed to Checkout" button and place your order for the Qualifying Item.
    c. The coupon discount will be automatically applied at checkout, reducing the price of one Qualifying Item. If you checkout with more than one Qualifying Item in your basket, the discount will only apply to the cheapest Qualifying Item. If the discount has been applied successfully, it will appear on the final Checkout page.

  3. To redeem the coupon by starting a new Subscribe & Save subscription:
    a. From the product description page of a Qualifying Item, choose the Subscribe & Save option. Select the number of units you want to receive and the frequency of your delivery and then click on the ‘Subscribe Now’ button to activate your subscription.
    b. The coupon discount will be automatically applied to the first delivery of your new Subscribe & Save subscription. If the discount has been applied successfully, it will appear in your subscription summary.

Amazon Coupon Terms and Conditions:

  1. Amazon reserves the right to modify or cancel any coupon at any time.
  2. Each coupon may only be used at www.amazon.com.au for the purchase of Qualifying Items.
  3. Each coupon collected can only be used once. Customers may be able to collect some coupons more than once, however, customers may not collect and use a coupon more than 10 times and may not use more than one of the same coupon in a single order.
  4. If you buy more than one item from the same coupon, the maximum discount amount of the coupon will be equal to either the percentage discount off or the face value of the coupon on one eligible item.
  5. If you return any Qualifying Item(s) purchased with a coupon, the coupon discount or value will be subtracted from the refund you receive.
  6. Delivery charges may apply. Learn more about delivery options and rates.
  7. Any coupon discount which you use in connection with a new Subscribe & Save subscription for a Qualifying Item will only be applied to your first delivery. If you cancel the subscription for the Qualifying Item, you will not receive the discount. If you modify the subscription, including changing the delivery date, you will not receive the discount; you may be able to collect the coupon again and apply it to your modified subscription if the coupon is still available.
  8. For 'Subscribe & Save only' coupons, you will need to subscribe to the Qualifying Item(s) to receive the discount; 'Subscribe & Save only' coupons cannot be redeemed against one-off purchases.
  9. Offers valid in each case while stocks last.
  10. Coupons have no cash redemption value and are not transferable or assignable.
  11. Coupons must not be used in conjunction with any other promotional discounts.

    15000 Lumen

Amazing. Lumen count went from 10000 to 15000 🤣

    • +11

      *Chinese Lumens. Photons sold separately.

    • +3

      Those are marketing lumens. ;)
Actual lumens would be well below 10,000lm.

Both torches are using the same XHP70.2 chipset / driver.

  • +12

    I don't need this, purchased.

    • me too.

  • +1

    Thanks ISP great find :)

  • +1

Thanks bought 6. Great cheap gifts to give to friends.

    • They are soon going to find out that they are cheap gifts :)

      • Why? These are extremely bright and with very high quality construction.

  • +2

Got in last time. Extremely poor battery life after a month of use.

    • Now I'm considering cancelling. Anyone else have a similar experience with battery life?

      • The best way to extend the charge is not to use full power if you don't need it. There are 2 dimmer settings.

        • It does not hold charge even for 12 hours after full charge without use. Not one, I bought two and both of them are same!

          • +1

@Bazeegar: Batteries are stuffed then. I'm still on the initial factory charge and used it quite a bit in the last week. Once the novelty of full brightness wore off I use the mid setting.

      • I have not had this problem. I can go to it days later and it’s still working at full power but that’s just my experience.

        • It only lasts days without use? Not weeks or months? Makes it hard to keep it charged for when you need it.

          • +1

@thestig: I haven’t owned them that long mate but I think they would be fine.

    • Thanks for the heads up

    • +3

They're not to be used. Just put on a shelf with all the other OzB crap that isn't used.

  • Does anyone know how many lumens on the 'Low' setting? Everything just says up to 15000 lumens

  • was looking for Zippo now I got another 2 touchs…..

  • Mine applied a $18 discount for some weird reason to bring it down to $21.99. The $18 discount is still appearing after my purchase.

    • you must have promotional balance from returns or something.

      • The $18 discount is still there after I purchased it.

    • +2

Keep buying more then until it disappears

    • Did you buy 1 or 2 torches? Sounds like you only bought 1.

      • +3

Correct. @anarky you would have bought only 1 qty, not 2.

        $39.99 - (25% * $39.99) - $8 = $21.99

        Whereas for two:

        $39.99 - (15% * $79.98) - (15% * $79.98) - (25% * $79.98) - $8 = $27.98

  • +1

    gone

  • oos

  • Can’t add to cart. It’s dead.

  • got to the final stage for them to take my money, and gone. it was 21.99 for me too :(

    • +1

$21.99 is for one. See here for explanation.

      • ahhhh, you're right.

unfortunately, already sold out. but im willing to get at least 1 for 21.99, it will be better then what i currently have of zero.

  • Are theses an actual reputable brand? Whenever I see a tiny torch light up a whole mountain side I get a bit suspicious

    • +1

not sure whether the brand has changed since this PSA 8 years ago

      https://www.reddit.com/r/flashlight/comments/42jbuf/shadowha…

      • Nah, they're still pretty crap. I definitely wouldn't trust the battery that it comes with, and the colour temp will be on the wrong side of 5000k.

Having said that, if you're a tinkerer after raw brightness (and can stomach the colour) it's not a bad price to get your hands on an XHP70.2 which can be driven pretty hard.

        • +1

no point even if youre a tinkerer, these aren't Cree LEDs so I wouldn't expect them to have the same power handling abilities

          • @Bacons: Haha yeah, I hadn't even thought of that.

  • Can't handle the square focus.

    • +1

The target cross created by the 4 LEDs is pretty cool though.

  • OOS :-(

  • +1

…for a moment I misread it as the other… form of ‘light’ they sell for dudes…

Thanks OP, Managed to purchase this before going OoS

  • +1

Missed this deal however OP is a legend!

  • 750 sold in 3 hours, jeez!

    • How you know that?

      • +2

I checked the amount of stock, there was over 750 quantity available in inventory. And it wasn’t 3 hours, it took just under an hour for OzBargainers to completely clear their stock!

        • -1

          how do you check stock?

  • For crying out loud. Missed this deal which would have been damn useful to me.

    • Ditto.

Looking back at the deal history, we will have to wait another year or so for this deal to come back.

  • I bought one of these in a previous deal and it is a great light. For some reason it died and wouldn't recharge. Would've loved another two!

  • +1

Already have it on my desk this morning after brought yesterday. WOW

    • Mine haven't even been shipped yet ☹️

  • +2

Great light output but the manufacturer cheaped out and the USB-C charging port will only charge if you use a USB A to C cable, which is annoying but whatever they're $14 each…

    • I didn't realise that was the reason some devices charge from my phone charger and others don't. Not really a hassle as I have a number of devices that charge from my other cable so always have two chargers plugged in but good to know the input side of the cable also matters.

  • Anyone who ordered this deal please check your banks accounts.
A day after the transaction was processed the same seller from Amazon marketplace charged me another $400.
