Jabra Elite 10 Noise Cancelling Earbuds $249 ($244 via Price Beat) + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ The Good Guys

260

First-time poster, please be kind :) I was thinking of upgrading my still-working with lower battery performance Jabra Elite Active 65t bought in 2019 (yes, 5 years without issues) and tracking prices of this for a while, wondering to either buy Pixel Buds Pro or Jabra and decided to go for this deal.

It's possibly the lowest so far, also available at a similar price ($249) at Amazon, JB and Officeworks, and can be lower if you can use Cashrewards or discounted gift cards to stack up.

Product Description: The Jabra Elite 10 are wireless in ear Noise cancelling ear buds. They feature all-day comfort & Dolby Atmos. Sink into all-day comfort with our revolutionary Jabra ComfortFit technology. Sleek and supple, we scanned 62,000 ears to create our unique oval EarGel that perfectly sculpts to every different ear shape. The semi-open design removes the feeling of having your ears plugged, and the unique ear gel design helps relieve in-ear pressure to ensure all-day comfort. Incredibly comfortable earbuds, however long you wear them

Absolutely go for it. These are good and that price is great. They were slightly cheaper at JB Hi-Fi briefly but that was a 12 hour deal.
Before I post I always do a quick ozbargain search to check previous lowest prices just to double check and a google search. I believe this is the new normal price at all stores (JB, officeworks, Amazon)

Also, regardless of what you post or how good of a deal it is, some people will always be disparaging. When this happens just disregard and move on.

    Thanks for contributing!

    Also, beware of @jv.

Appreciate the insights! Jabra has been surprisingly good so yes to it, cheers!

I did similar to you… I have a still well-functioning pair of Elite 75t, but recently purchased a pair of Elite 7 Pro because they were a good price ($149). I wasn't getting enough battery life out of the Elite 75t for long nights on conference calls.

i now use the both, enjoy the longer battery life on the Elite 7 Pro and also the mono mode for either ear. The Elite 75t still have plenty of life to give so they stay in the rotation.

  • Good Guys deal expires 01/05/2024
    JB Hi-Fi deal expires 15/05/2024
Bing Lee deal expires 15/05/2024 (only seems to be Titanium Black)
OfficeWorks deal is a price match so should be as long as JB HiFi / Bing Lee deal (also only seems to be Titanium Black available)

These are great headphones. I seem to suit the Jabra's, having used a range of both them and Sony's ANCs earphones. Far prefer the comfort of these in my ears to my Sony WF-1000XM4s and WF-1000XM5s. And maybe as a result of the better ear fit with the Jabras, I definitely prefer the sound and ANC on the Jabras. A nice upgrade on the Elite 85Ts and earlier models.
All my Jabras have also been trouble free. The firmware upgrade process though on the app could do with a bit of polish (to tell you when it's finished and wrap it up nicely) but otherwise they're fabulous.

    • Are their tips smaller than the Sony's etc.? I have small ear canals and I find a lot of earbuds will just slowly pop out because they are too big. OG Pixel Buds fit my ears great, then the gen 2 they changed and they're too big now :( also no wings anymore… Looking for an alternative that's good for small ear canals.

  • Purchased the Jabra 7 Pro and the ANR was terrible. Are these any better?

    • I found the same with the Jabra 7 Pro. The ANC is not good. I pull out my 10-year old wired Bose QC 20i whenever I really need noise cancelling, they're so much better than anything else I've used.

      • I'm impressed yours lasted so long. Mine are also 10 years old but the cable between the battery pack and the headphone jack broke off after 4 years. You're right about the ANC though; they're still the equal of anything on the market today. And still the most comfortable earbuds they've made.

        • The rubber coating around the battery pack basically pealed off, but saved that with a bit of double sided carpet tape. I’ve had to replace the eartips, but i can wear them all day without feeling them.
I pretty much only use them when flying these days - wireless earbuds are so much more convenient for pretty much every other situation!

  • Are these at all suitable for gym use and sweating?

I had 75t active before and really liked them for workouts but had to return them because they just would not function with teams calls.

Ive got buds2 pro or whatever now and theyre "ok/good" but don't perform as well as the 75t did.

    • I have the Elite 7 Pro and 75t (not active). I run in them, never had a problem… but your workout sweats may be stronger than my run sweats!

I was going to go with Jabra Elite 10 from the last JB deal but ended up not getting them. I got the Technics from the recent JB deal and they sound amazing
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/842271

    • Are the mics any good on the Technics?

      • I have made a few phone calls with these already and had no complaints from the other end

        • Have you tried to make phone calls in noisy environments (shopping centres, restaurants, fitness centres, etc)

I must be the only one here that couldn't get a good fit with the new design after trying for a few days with all different eartips/positioning, etc. Sold it and still using my Elite 7 Pro (for years now) and great for doing outdoor house work.

I really wanted to like the Elite 10 though.

I found the same - ended up being able to return them and then bought the Sony WF-1000XM5's instead and the fit is much better along with ANC/sound as well.

      • I'll have a look at the XM5 when it goes on sale and see how it is, thanks

  • I paid full price for mine. They’ve actually become my favourite pair, slightly nudging out my APP2 and QCII’s purely due to their comfort and reliability.

    • I heard problems about the silicone covering for the earbuds making it feel like it's falling off. And the risk of having sticky silicone. Did you encounter any of that problem?

    • No, I find them exceptionally comfortable.

Obviously you can never know until you try them yourself, but Jabra put a lot of work into making these so comfortable. My Bose come close, then APP2.. everything else is miles worse.

I like the grippy texture, as they don’t budge when I go running.

  • The Technics AZ-60m2 often drop to similar price on amazon. I would be inclined to hold out for them.
Note: I've never tried the Jabra but do own the Technics and have looked at comparisons.

  • Got these from previous deal.

Zero regrets. If you're on the fence grab a pair.

ANC probably isn't as good as my WF-1000XM4 but everything else is great.

  • Thanks OP! got it in JB for $229.

    • Did you just ask for an instore offer?

      • +1

did it from JB site chat with agent. I ask for the best price they can.

        • +1

How did you do it? I chatted with one guy and the best offer he could make is $244.

          • +1

@ethannguyen: I think he had a chat with agent and asked for the best price they can

        • +1

yeah they ask me for the link in TGG with price $244. then ask them if they can do better on price. we ended with $229.

  • I've been experiencing some issues with the microphone on my earbuds, particularly in noisy environments. When I was at the gym with loud background music, my friend had difficulty understanding what I was saying.

  • Thanks - was on the fence and committed.

Had the Sony WF-1000XM5's flagged as my preference but pulled the trigger on these at this price.
Previously had the Elite 4 Active's and was very happy with them.
