Still fantastic. I did a full playthrough when Prime face it away, and all the DLCs added so much compared to the first playthrough years ago. They're a major part of the story and worth seeing.

Not only that, the reengineering on ME2 & ME3 really made it a visual feast. Sadly, ME1 only saw a marginal improvement, but it was also originally built on a much older game engine. Still lots of fun, though.

      • Played the 3 ME individually on PC maybe 10yr ago. Are you saying that this edition updated the visuals? I absolutely loved the 3 games and would grab the bundle if that's the case. Are there still any multiplayer aspects to ME3?

I played the Legendary Edition on Xbox and it was definitely an improvement. Dunno about multiplayer TBH, I only played as a singleton.

        • Legendary Edition ME3 doesn't have multiplayer and the War Assets have been rebalanced to compensate, you still need the original for that.

Biggest engine change is the trilogy now runs DX11 across the board. Visual changes are 4K and HDR support as well as unlocked framerates, your usual upscaled textures and pre-rendered cutscenes, plus lots of little lighting changes (they've fixed a lot of weird lighting around dialog scenes and character teeth) and backporting the ME3 character creator.

Anyone played this on Steam Deck and how does it go?

Sounds like it has issues with the EA launcher but mostly works. Pity, I would have bought it if it wasn't for the EA launcher

    • I'm playing it on Steam Deck atm - on ME3 - a bit finicky to set up through the EA launcher and shiz, but once you're past the set up it runs great.

It didnt work out of the box with my wireless xbox controller, but I haven't really tried other than 'Does it work?' 'No'

Was on reddit recently in the Steamdeck community and apparently really works. I'll give it a go after work.
