Is this really 240gb? The last time there was this whole thing with the deal being unobtainable.

    • +3

The previous deal was in-between the previous and current 90GB bonus activation period.

You should get 240GB (150GB + 90GB bonus data), as it's also advertised on Vodafone site.

      • Ahh ok, thanks for clarifying

  • and I use the everyday reward extra 10% off?

      • thanks so it is about $125 after the discound and bonus points

    • Last time I bought a Voda SIM, that 10% worked.
So, with 10% ER, 5% on a GC and $10 worth of points, that's $9.85pm for 20GB + calls. Pretty good value. Even better if you have Everyday Extra!

      • what is the 10% ER?

        • +1

I think they're talking about Everyday Rewards Extra. It's a yearly subscription that gives you 10% off any shop, once a month (from both Woolies and Big W).

          • @bataleon: but he mentioned

Even better if you have Everyday Extra!

      • -1

it didn't work for me and the system rejected GC payment ! I will try again now !!!

        • Add cards to the everyday app and pay using QR code at the till

      • Where do you get 5% off Woolies gift cards from?

        • If you have a Senior's card (in Vic, anyway)

Based on what people say about voda reception in metro I’ll hard pass.

    • That's the only thing that concerns me. Would be interested in anyone who has recent experience with Vodafone network coverage.

Brisbane central here. I went from 12mths with Vodafone to about 4mths so far with Boost (Telstra). Vodafone was consistently better than Telstra for me here. Especially indoors (like inside Coles).

However, when we went down to Yamba for holidays a couple of times Vodafone was awful. Yet to test Telstra but I’d wager it’s better there.

All in all I will be going back to Vodafone when this 12mths is up.

iPhone 12 Pro Max if that helps at all.

        • Thanks, appreciate the advice.

I switched to Voda in Feb after having Boost & More (both use Telstra) and I've been regretting since then. Unfortunately I'm stuck until next Feb. Would recommend stay away. Melbourne metro.

  • Just would like to clarify - does prepaid starter pack allow you transferring your original mobile number?
I am currently using Vodafone $35 prepaid pack, and I assume that I can not use this deal.

    • +2

Since it's a SIM card and not a recharge voucher, you will be required to port-out of Vodafone then port back in.

  • got one for missus last time around. I think for what it's worth, it's a good deal. No more sim hoping for a year, and it works out to be like $10-12 a month. Although I got Moose for myself recently, $11.80 for the first 8 months with 200 gb data rollover and 25gb allowance per month.

  • best is catch $89 for a year !!

    • Same amount of data?

    • Not working anymore

How is Voda in Melbourne, inner west area?

    • Extremely bad. If you are moving or inside a big building i.e. warehouse goodluck getting any reception.

  • Rather use voda vs OptuscatastrophicFail.

Does anyone know if I buy 2, do I receive 4000 EDR points?

    • +1

Yes you do. Bought 2 recently and got points on both.

Can you switch from Kogan Mobile to Voda considering Kogan also uses Voda network?

    • +2

Yes, it never matters what network it uses, as long as the retail brand name is different then you are considered a new customer, with all providers.

went to 2 store in WA and can't find this aim card. only found a $250 starter pack

    • Then scans at $150? Ironic lol

  • Can we pay with WWS/WISH gift card?

    • I did using my ww gift cards and it worked along with 2k EDR points. The catalogue didn't mention the extra 2k points but i still got it.

  • Used my 10% off with Woolworths Extra with this. Thanks OP

  • Has been expired or still this price today? Can any one comments?

    • +1

Available again from Wed 15 May - Tue 21 May 2024.

      • Nice, thanks Richard

  • Looks like you have to save a credit card/ Save to Paypal to activate.

I just linked a prepaid Mastercard with a zero balance to Paypal, and used that….

But I recon I did that with Ebay Plus, and they took it from my linked BSB instead. Sound right?
