The black one is still $1049 but seems very cheap for an LTE watch unless I am missing something else.

Thanks for the feedback all, I don’t really understand much about smart watches but thought it would be good for weekend hikes if it worked with AllTrails.

People saying this is the same as the FR 945, I'd read this review, as he talks about the technology and ui and other changes.

I have the non LTE version of this watch and am very happy with it.

Yes, 955 is worth checking too, just make sure you know what you're comparing against.
