I got my OLED Switch that way and it's fine. No usable warranty but unlikely to need one.
I don't think the OG Switch (LCD) is worth getting at this point in lifecycle. I would splash out a bit extra for the OLED if you really wanted a Switch before the Switch 2 is released. This is my opinion, I own both and I use mostly for portable gaming so the screen (OLED) is importsnt to me.

Once you see the OLED in person side by side with an OG, it's hard to go back to the OG screen, regardless of the price.

I remember purchasing this for $373 inc. delivery from Kogan 6+ years ago….amazing that the switch’s price hasn’t budged to date but actually increased….
I bought the 2019 revised version for around $400 as well. Also came with MK8 Deluxe and 3 months Nintendo Online.
I think the best deal was in 2020 when gamesmen eBay had that sale for only $300.
I paid $399 for my Switch in 2018 from JB HiFi… hell of a deal 6 years ago.
