Looks like a standard chinese divx/xvid/mpeg4 player.
No USB input but cheap at $29.95, free delivery with paypal (code PPXMAS).
Connections: Video: Scart and S-Video, component video out, Audio: Coaxial digital output, 5.1 analogue audio output

Unlike sub $200 panasonic/sony/et al where you get less than if you spend $50 on a Chinese knockoff (for DVD players that is)
Very tempting as the CD player in our stereo is dying…

lol cheap and nasty?
divx/xvid as well. nice.
I have a question. I have an external hard drive with a lot of movies on there (avi files). So with this cheap DVD player with USB, can I plug in my external hard drive and watch the movies on my TV?
Generally speaking, yes. But you might need an external power supply.
And the software may be bad. Its intended for small flash-memory sticks, not big drives with sub-directories.
This unit does not have it anyway.
Sorry for the stupid question, but how can you people tell this DVD player can play xvid/divx. I called oo and they said it couldn't and the website didn't say.
It says MPEG4, which on a DVD player, normally (always?) means in an AVI file on an ISO9660-formatted disc. (Or USB/fat)
DivX and Xvid are implementations of the MPEG4 standard in an AVI container.
I very much doubt this device will play .mp4 files.
Google for more.
1 thing to know about these unknown Chinese brands though, you do really get what you pay for. So don't expect too much from this. Price looks really good
